We are currently staying at this hotel and love it! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. It is super calm and relaxing and there are usually only a couple of people at the pool, it’s never crowded. We also like the design and although there might be cheaper hotels in Bali we feel like we as tourists should not save money at any cost when we can support local people and good service.There are also a few restaurants and Cafés around which can be reached by walking.

I recently stayed at this property and, while the location is convenient, I found the price-to-quality ratio to be quite exaggerated. It feels more like a villa that's been repurposed into guest rooms. The service was slow and lacked the friendliness you usually expect in Bali, which was surprising. Breakfast was limited—you're allowed to order just one option with no chance of getting seconds. My "palm view" room was labeled as such simply because there was a planter with a single palm tree outside. My friend’s standard room was right next to the reception, and she could hear the staff chatting and playing videos on their phones late into the night. The photos online make the place look much more appealing than it actually is.

Overall, it's not bad. Two swimming pools. Friendly staff. They clean, change linen and towels daily. The renovations in the rooms are not the latest. Sound insulation is not very good.

My partner and I are very happy to have stayed at the Bloomfield Umalas. The service is close and pleasant, Cindy, her colleagues and those responsible for the meals are charming. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very good, I recommend the strawberry pancakes and the dragon bowl, next to the pools with refreshing and pleasant water. Far from the noise of the center of Canggu, it allows you to rest and relax after spending all day on the beach surfing.

Very nice hotel with very nice employees. I do recommend renting a scooter or downloading the Gojek app as it is a short distance from the beach/center.

I booked Bloomfields quite last minute and was very happy with my decision. The decor in the rooms and throughout the hotel is stunning, The pool and restaurant area is a perfect oasis for relaxing and it was a dream to be able to practice yoga every morning in their dedicated outdoor yoga area. Yes the location is a little out of the way but if relaxing is what you are looking for this is it!! its only a 15 minute Grab/Go Jek away from Canggu beach and shopping area, plus there are lots of amazing brunch spots within walking distance.

place is very remote, breakfast is best avoidable and cheaper to buy at the hotel then online. Most of the ground floor rooms are very noisy and too basic for the price. Pics are photoshopped.

Room door was broken and open all the time, 24/7. They said it can not be fixed. Sink in the bathroom was damaged. Mirror damaged. Aircon was working very bad (either very cold or hot air). Closet doors were creaking as hell. WiFi was very weak in our room. No table at all in the room for working. First days even electricity had a few blackouts, but I guess they solved it later. Looks like the owner was preparing the hotel for the sale, and did not care about it at all. IN the common public area they even had a meeting with potential buyers (it's very unethical to the guests, who came here to relax).Would love to, but cant give more that 3 stars... If they would keep the hotel in a good condition, it would worth 5 for sure.

Amazing tranquility away from central Canggu.The service was amazing, they are extremely attentive.The decor of the hotel, wow amazing. Great place for pictures as it looks amazing wherever you go! I loved our room too. Spacious and relaxing.The view of the rice fields from the pool was beautiful. I loved the quality of breakfast.I would recommend for sure!

Cozy small hotel, manned reception 24/7, you can buy alcohol and food by the pool, good Al La Carte Breakfast! Nice view over a field, you can also get a massage here!The reception also arranges a cheap and good seafarer for us

A truly wonderful stay at Bloomfield, we were made to feel so welcome, the service was warm and friendly 😀 The rooms are spacious and really comfortable. Very comfortable beds too! The breakfasts exceeded expectations, they were healthy, freshly prepared and so tasty 😋 Thank you for such a memorable stay!

Overall, you have to say that Bloomfield Bali is a nice place to stay - but you also pay a price for it. For that much money we actually expected a little more service.We felt comfortable in the accommodation. Great location, a bit away from Canggu but you can get everywhere very quickly. Nice room - modernly furnished, bed is comfortable and bathroom clean. Cleaning takes place every day and you get fresh towels. Pool is really nice - there are some loungers, chairs and beanbags. From our point of view, the accommodation wasn't too noisy - the spacious rooms including a balcony meant it was the perfect mix of privacy and security.We didn't like the following points so much:Service - is really a maximum of a 2/10. The employees were friendly, but just very reserved and not accommodating. We arrived at the hotel at night and were only taken to our room by security. The next morning there was no proper greeting/check-in or anything like that. We were also not informed about any offers from the hotel. Are there beach towels? Can you rent a scooter? Can you book excursions/trips? There was really nothing at all. The highlight: when I had some questions, the employees wrote to me on WhatsApp instead of speaking to me directly.Prices in the hotel restaurant. There is a small menu, but the prices are sometimes twice or three times as high as in restaurants/warungs in Bali. I find that inappropriate, especially for the price of the hotel. The prices for a massage/spa offers are also incredibly expensive compared to Bali.The lighting in the room is very weak. Even with all the lights on, the room is quite dark.
