The environment is good, and you can stay cool in the shade of the trees in the summer. The facilities are clean and the staff's response is also good👌The only thing I can say is that it would be better to separate sites for general campers and campers.Around 11pm, there was a camper with no manners who kept changing the direction of his car and shining his car lights in my direction, which disturbed my sleep and made me feel angry! 😅 Explosion

I used the Takahara site for the first time.◾️DivisionIt was a free site where cars were not allowed. The area is large enough to hold about 5 tents and tarps. The ground is grass and weeds so it doesn't seem like the tent will get dirty easily, but the site is not completely flat. The kitchen is in front◾️Equipment sideNewly established sanitary? The toilets and showers are relatively clean, but it's a bit of a 5 minute walk from the plateau site. The shower is 200 yen for 5 minutes, a wallet-friendly price.I was able to adjust the water temperature, so I don't think the shower will be too hot or too cold.Garbage, plastic bottles, jars, and cans can be thrown away.◾️OthersPerhaps due to its age, the building near the plateau site is closed and the toilet is unavailable. There is something that looks like a telephone pole, but it is rusted, so be careful when walking on it to prevent it from collapsing.Be careful of horsefliesDrinks, repellents, etc. are available for sale at the administration building.◾️FinallyThe starry sky was very beautiful (taken with a genuine app on an old iPhone)I drove my car without stopping at the administration building when I checked out, but the staff saw me off with a polite bow.I happened to notice it when I looked in the rearview mirror, but I definitely want to use it again next year.

Great place...🤩🤩🤩I recommend.Good points:- there are bathrooms for showers 🛁, 200 for 5 minutes.- there are places with power and without to camp ⛺️ it's up to you to choose.- there is fishing for children- there are bungalows and houses to stay in.I really liked it, but it rained a lot on one of the days I went.We will definitely go again.

I get the impression that there aren't many flowers because it's past the season, so that's why I gave it 2 stars.I think it's a quiet and nice environment for people who go camping.

I visited for one night on the last weekend of August while sightseeing in Atera Valley. It seems that Obon was crowded, but on this day, there was only one other group at the second campsite where we stayed, and one group at the first campsite, so it was like a private reservation. I had a relaxing time. The children were very excited about the tree house they stayed at, “Tsukushinbo House”!!However, the provided blanket wasn't really a blanket (lol), and it was quite cold at night even though it was August, so this blanket alone wasn't enough. We recommend bringing your own mat and sleeping bag.The toilets don't flush, and there's no hot water in the kitchen, but they've been kept to a minimum, so I didn't feel uncomfortable. There seems to be a flush toilet at the first campsite where the sanitary house is located. At night, the management patrolled the area and greeted us.As the night progressed, the stars were so beautiful that we all gazed at them. You can also enjoy fireworks (need to be negotiated depending on how crowded it is), and the price includes staying in a tree house, purchasing firewood, renting a rice cooker, and fishing at the fishing pond inside the venue, where you can get change for 10,000 yen!!It's not a high standard, but even those of us with little camping experience can enjoy it and think it's a hidden gem!
