The guest rooms and large public bath have an old-fashioned feel, but the location is in the mountains along the Tenryu River, which I think is good for people coming from the city. In addition, although the price is low, the dinner is a course meal, and you will be satisfied with the elaborate menu including local game meat and Shinshu salmon. This is an inn that I would like to visit again during the autumn foliage season.

This is my third time staying at Nangong Hot Springs. The view from the room is soothing, and you can hear the nightingales crying in the morning. The toilets and washrooms are shared, so I think you need to make a reservation in advance and confirm it again the day before your stay. Currently run by a Chinese person, only the man in the kitchen is in charge. The entertainment and food were outstanding.

I stayed here on May 3, 2023.The reservation date was April 14th, but I was worried, so I called the day before to confirm, and was told that it wasn't May 4th. No, it's tomorrow, the 3rd. If I can't stay, I'll look elsewhere. So I asked him to tell me about it, and he said it would be fine. After that, I called again to ask about something I had forgotten to ask, and I said that I would like to call again tomorrow, and then hung up. After that, I received a call for some reason, and when I called back, they asked me if it was okay for the 15th. No, it's tomorrow, the 3rd. I told them again and again, and when I asked them on the day, they didn't hear about my reservation today! said a young person from another country with a sleepy look on his face. The person I called to confirm was the female owner, and the Japanese cook was often worried. I asked him to call me because I wanted to talk to him, but he said he was in Iida and would not come here. I was told that I could stay overnight, so I just checked in. When I asked him to show me to his room, he turned his head to the side and didn't seem to understand what I was saying, so I asked him where his room was, and he said it was at the end of the second floor, so when I entered his room, I don't have any plans, but the futon is already laid out. I thought so, but at the time I didn't care. Dinner is not available as a course meal, so the fillet cutlet set meal and beer cost 2,000 yen. I paid with the service ticket I received, and the cost was 7,700 yen for one night, including breakfast. The food was delicious considering the owner was sloppy, but it was a bit expensive considering the building and facilities. The cook even came out to see me off while apologizing until the end, but I wish I had gotten an apology from the owner even if it was just a phone call later. Since I wasn't Japanese, I thought it might be a different culture, but my companion told me that after a few days, he was stung by about 20 insect bites on his body, and the itching had finally subsided. Ta. Fortunately, I was fine, but if there are people who think they can't go anymore and are considering staying overnight, I think it would be better to check with them before making a decision. The hot spring bath and food are not bad.

Visited for dinner. It's an old inn with a lot of atmosphere. The food was well worth the price and the taste and quantity were very good.

There's no convenience store nearby, so she makes me a bento and it's delicious. The bath (hot spring♨️) is also available 24 hours a day.Breakfast is also delicious. Dinner was hot pot. I'm looking forward to tomorrow. Please use it when you come to Nagano Prefecture.

I was told that dogs could stay with me, so I made a reservation even though the reviews weren't very good because it was Golden Week and all the other places were fully booked. …
