I made a reservation after seeing the reviews on the website. Although the building is old, the bathroom has been renovated and is very clean. However, perhaps it was a seasonal issue, but I had to be prepared to be bitten by many mosquitoes in the open-air bath. I think the food was delicious overall, but I was disappointed that the fish was undercooked. The most disappointing thing was that after being shown to the room, during the explanation about the facility, the waiter was told that the waiter would be given a gratuity, saying, ``If you leave it on the table before dinner, we will lay out the futon for you during the meal, and you will receive it at that time.'' case. My family was surprised because it was the first time someone said something like this to me.

The whole place gives a very nostalgic feeling and has both indoor/outdoor hot springs. It's right beside the sea therefore you get to enjoy the sunset view and sound of the waves.Despite the communication barrier as I could not speak Japanese, they still give us great service throughout our stay and meals. They only take in limited guests so you get to enjoy a lot of privacy with private bath sessions too.Overall, it's a great comfortable stay with delicious meals.

This is an absolutely perfect inn. There are some rules that make you feel a little cramped (such as leaving your room key at the front desk when entering the hot springs inside the inn from your room). However, I thought that would happen if you try to provide the best service, including consideration for other customers and the building itself. In fact, it was supposed to be full, but I didn't pass by any other customers. The meal is a full-course Japanese meal and is quite large, so if you are from overseas or have children, it would be best to check in advance. As a side note, I felt that the cost performance was better than the south side of Amanohashidate.

The parking lot is in front of the entrance of the pier.Payment is in cash only.We stayed during the season when there were no crabs. The kind landlady will explain various things to you.The food is similar to Kyoto Kaiseki, with a light taste that allows you to enjoy the taste of the ingredients. The rice is also very delicious. All dishes were delicious. The whole place has a very retro feel, but is clean and beautiful. However, the walls are thin and the neighbors talking and snoring are noisy. As for the location, there is a supermarket called Nishigaki-san nearby. Bicycle rentals are available at the souvenir shop next door.Kago Shrine is just across the national highway.

I was looking forward to a crab trip and did a lot of research. When we arrived, we were shown to our room, but the way we were shown was in a conversational tone that made it seem like they didn't see us as guests. When we asked questions, we had no right to ask, and they spoke to us indifferently. After all, at what time should I take a bath?'' We had time until dinner, so we went out, but due to our mistake, he took our room key with us, and the owner... Because of this misunderstanding, I was yelled at and talked about compensation issues, which ruined my trip. Since it was my first trip in a while, I wanted to have fun and make the most of my time, so I chose to leave this hotel. That money was money I had been saving for six months because I wanted to eat crab, but of course I was charged exactly the money, and I was really angry. It's like paying 50,000 yen for 10 minutes today. I will never go there again.

Location: Right in front of the sightseeing boat pier. Very close to the historic Kago Shrine. Supermarket is also nearby. Amanohashidate is also just a short walk away. You can also reach the ropeway by walking a short distance up the slope.Building: It seems that only the noticeable parts of the old building have been renovated. It's not bad, but it doesn't have the latest equipment.Cooking: Dinner and breakfast in separate rooms. Crab crab crab exhaustion. The food was delicious as expected, but what made me happy was that I was able to have a platter of three types of desserts in my room. Since I didn't order alcohol during the meal, I asked for coffee for 350 yen and had it brought to my room.Bath: Indoor bath or indoor open-air bath? It was a moderate temperature. It is heated and circulated and filtered. Men and women alternate in the evening and morning. After dinner, each family can reserve the space for 45 minutes. You can't enter until late at night.Others: No vending machines. The face towel is a thin type. No lotion, cotton, hairbrush, etc. If you need anything, bring it! I thought it was a little weird to see so many rules, but they were commonplace in the Showa era. I think you can have a pleasant time if you follow your manners.

The hostess was really kind and everything was taken care of, so I was able to relax and enjoy my stay.I was able to have dinner and breakfast in a private room, and I was able to go comfortably in a yukata without meeting anyone.Next time I would like to go during the crab season.
