It was a place where the word "inn" really fits. These days, it seems that "elaborate and stylish rooms" that are designed to fit the local area are popular, but for some reason, whenever I go to this country, the image overlaps with Vuitton and Prada.Although it was a short stay at this inn, I was able to talk with the host, and I think I was able to experience the precious culture of Achi and a little bit of what is called ``travel''.

Achi, Nagano is known to be one of the best places for stargazing in Japan. I came here with three other friends, and though it was a short overnight visit it did not disappoint. The weather cooperated and being in early December it was cold. Plenty of stars! So be adequately prepared for the weather whatever the season you visit. Highly recommended!Thank you Emi so much for everything! It is immensely appreciated! I hope to come stay again in the near future!

I stayed here for one night on October 23, 20023. I had a hard time finding a place where I could stay alone as a woman, so I finally found one. The prices are surprisingly reasonable, but above all, the owner has more local information than a hotel concierge, and the planning is more in line with personal requests and time constraints than an executive secretary, making it a very fulfilling and satisfying experience. It was one night and two days.As for local information, first of all, we were able to decide to incorporate the viewing of ``Japan's most beautiful starry sky'' on the night of October 23rd, taking into consideration the cost and time from the information we received in advance about tour buses, taxis, and convenience stores. .In addition, the owner's planning ability was put to good use when I had to make some sudden changes to my original plan (I was planning to visit the Manchuria Peace Memorial Museum on October 24th, but on this day (It was on a closed day!) At that time, he suggested various sights and experiences that were possible within my schedule and that seemed to suit my tastes. As a result, I was able to enjoy shopping at local specialties antenna shops, the morning market and footbath at Hirugami Onsen, and even a day trip to the hot springs. These were things I would never have thought of on my own or would have been possible due to my schedule (but it's possible! Even my family was surprised at how fulfilling the experience was afterwards.)I received so much support that I couldn't mention it all, and thanks to them I was able to safely complete my first solo trip in decades. Thank you very much for your kindness. That's right, I had a lot of fun talking with the mountaineer and the owner who were staying on the same day until almost bedtime. Looking back, it was like a backpacking trip♪♪!

At the high price and with the high rating of the place, we expected more. The room is small, and although it says that 5 are allowed, there was only room for 4 futons.Towels are not provided, despite the high price for accommodation, they ask for another 300 yen to rent a towel, we rented 3 towels for 900 yen, which weren't even clean enough so all five of us eventually used only one towel which seemed reasonable. We were asked not to arrive before the late check-in time (16:00)  and at exactly 10:00 o'clock, at the time of check-out, we were asked to leave the living room as well, we really felt evicted. We have never been treated like this. You can always stay in the public area after the room is vacated at check-in.Although the owner and her daughter are nice, the feeling was not pleasant at all and not worth the price.

The Achi village office is also nearby, and it is the village's number one commercial and residential area. …

According to the Achi Village Tourism Association, there were no cheap accommodations in the hot spring town, so I searched for this place on my own, and it turned out to be the right place. There are convenience stores and supermarkets within walking distance, and many of the restaurants (or izakayas at night) are run by chefs who worked at hotels in Hirugami Onsen, so they seemed to be frequented by locals. There are also homemade side dishes at the supermarket.I also felt the intelligence in the witty conversation of the owner, Mr. S. Apparently he runs a children's cafeteria, and I'm sure he's loved by the children because of his personality.

I stayed there after climbing.I felt at home and had a comfortable stay. There is a local supermarket and convenience store nearby, which is convenient. Also, the morning market at Hirugami Onsen is a bargain.
