Google Maps specifies a different building, but the yellow pension behind the pensions along the street is Sakai Pension.I've never met the house, but I get the feeling that the previous owner has always loved living in nature.This time, she picked herbs growing nearby and immediately brewed herbal tea.When ingredients are available locally, such as wild vegetables, mushrooms, and river fish, they will cook for you.Since it's spring, we had a variety of wild vegetables served.It seems that mushrooms appear in autumn.Bread, Caspian Sea yogurt, and sorbet are also handmade.The food is not the same as the one you get in the city, but has natural flavors, so it may be suitable for people who long for a natural lifestyle.There is a large black wood stove in the dining room.It seems to be used when it's cold.I didn't use the bath because I went to the Sennin Bath in Kamisuwa.*Free wi-fi availableThe current owner is the lady of the previous generation, and both of them are painters. The owner was a lovely person.
