I wanted to go during the cherry blossom season, but I was finally able to stay overnight this time. The hotel itself is old, but the lobby and rooms were clean and neat. The parking lot is close to the front desk, and there are many Kohigan cherry trees in the parking lot, which is great in spring. The lake view from the room is a wonderful view of Takato Dam and Lake Takato. The bath has a pH of 9.7 and contains sulfide ions, a slimy ingredient, and is very nice. There is also an open-air bath, which was very good for a tired body. Dinner was a full course meal at a restaurant with a view of Lake Takato, and breakfast was also delicious with a baikin course meal at the same place. One disappointing thing was that the pier on the lake, which seemed to be for the exclusive use of the hotel, was off-limits. The bath was so good that I took it twice.

He was involved in the construction of this facility 30 years ago. To commemorate my retirement, I drove 6 hours from Chiba Prefecture to go there. It was so clean that I couldn't believe it was built 30 years ago, and the tatami in the room looked like it had just been replaced, so I was very comfortable.I stayed on a Sunday, and there were 6 other groups of guests besides me. I bet it will be very crowded during cherry blossom season. The hot spring was in Truntlung, and we also had breakfast 😋Unfortunately, the mesh of the screen door is coarse, and when you open the window, small insects come in. This is the sash manufacturer's fault! ...I was in charge 😅

The rooms were well-cleaned and comfortable, and had a nice lake view. The only slippers provided were small. The bath has a slippery feel, and I would like to visit it even for a day trip bath.Dinner was not too elaborate, but it was delicious and I was able to eat in peace.

I made a reservation because there was no accommodation nearby, but in the end I made the right choice. The rooms have been renovated and are very clean. Although the public bath is old, it has been cleaned and the quality of the spring water is good.Isn't it a good service considering the price? However, it is a pity that there is no tea. (I stayed at an inn in Nagano Prefecture for several nights, but I didn't find any where tea was served with breakfast and dinner. It might just be a coincidence, though.)

The food, baths, and location were better than I expected. The hot springs also had a spacious and open feel, and the quality of the hot springs was smooth and wonderful. This is an inn that I would definitely like to visit again.
