A seaside hotel where an 88-year-old grandmother serves customers and her son does the cooking. When I stayed there, it was reserved for private use, so I was able to enjoy a leisurely conversation with the old lady for about two hours during dinner. The spacious 10 tatami room has an alcove, wide veranda, balcony, and entrance, so it was too spacious for one person. There is a toilet with a washlet and a sink in the room, but the bath is only in the large bath, and the refrigerator is in the hallway. You cannot share or watch BS, and there is no Wi-Fi. There was an old treadle sewing machine next to the stairs next to the front desk. He is still using it, and yesterday he took a 4-hour round trip bus ride to Kagoshima city to buy yarn and books. Why not go see your grandmother who is still in good health? Depending on the crowd, you may be able to hear valuable stories such as old tales. I wanted Satoshi Kuramoto to write ``Hotel Nami no Ue Monogatari.''

I was a little nervous because there wasn't much information on the internet, but it turned out to be a wonderful memory. An 88-year-old grandmother provides kind customer service.I made a reservation over the phone, checked in in the evening, experienced a sand steam bath at Saraku, which was within walking distance, and then had dinner. The building itself is old, but the room was well-cleaned and comfortable. When I stayed there, it was almost private and I was able to take a bath at will. Both dinner and breakfast were very satisfying and I was able to spend a relaxing time.I want to go again!

The rooms were kept clean and the rooms facing the sea had a great view of Kagoshima Bay. …

I stayed with a group. The building was a little old, but the hostess was kind and courteous. The hot spring was hot and felt very good. Since it is a hot spring town, the price was reasonable and included two meals. It was also within walking distance to the sand steaming hot springs.
