I got thos property from agoda, and it was a steal. Let me get to the good stuff first. I booked the unit with the private pool, and I didn't regret it.I got the 1st unit. We were ushered by the caretaker(nyoma). She showed us around and showed us how to lock the premises so on. She would prepare breakfast and clean the unit daily, and replace your towels daily. So there's always fresh towels daily. The unit is super large, and the rooms are large as well. WiFi was working well, and the kitchen is fully equipped. Gas was available, and there were pots and pans. The fridge was working, and the dining table was some kind of natural wood table. It was nice. The rooms I think are equipped with king-size beds, there's a tv in each room and there's a wardrobe. There's a bathtub and hot water as well. The pool is large and the motor runs usually from 7 to 10 and 12 to 5. And the pool is cleaned weekly according to the caretaker , but at night it will seem dusty or dirty as there's no roof on the pool area, hence sometimes there might be soke dust or stuff there. But it's alright. The beds are super comfortable, and aircond is cold on the hot summer. The service is wonderful. I had some trouble with certain things, and the caretaker was quick and fast to respond and fix or explain the issue. There was a power cut in the unit, and she examined it and fixed it. The owner was notified, and they messaged me as well. For the first 2 days, breakfast was eggs and toast , and the 3rd was indomee and egg. She's a great cook, and when requested for coffee and extra things, they delivered, which was nice of them. Their hospitality was great. The unit has some small parking spaces at the side. If you have your scooters or a car, the main gate is usually locked, but you'll usually have a key.The unit is located in a housing area surrounded by some commercial areas as well. There's a laundry shop in front of the homestay, and there's a few restaurants along the main road. Walking distance about 500m to 1km, 10 min walk. If you walk further, you can hey Starbucks or alfamart. There's a futsal area beside the building and a karaoke centre, I guess beside the place. Here's the cons that I can think of, I'll admit that when booking, I didn't realize the many negative google reviews of the place as it was all nice on agoda. But certain things were clarified upon arrival, gas is present, wifi is working, pools clean, and so on. But the unit is a bit old. My wardrobe is kinda breaking apart, and I think there might be some past termite infestation. I guess i dont know. My rooms plug points are not working and the toilet is clean but as it's an old unit you can definitely see that it's old, it's stained and all. The pool is nice but again you can see it's old. The toilet shades / window blinds were broken as well, but then, god, it's just the outdoor shower, which is not clean as it's outdoor.I had a wonderful time here I'll admit as during the day at 10 tp 11, I am out exploring bali, I'll return usually at 8 to 9 and we'll chill by the pool and just talk . So, I didn't really mind these issues. But I guess it should be fixed and fixed soon. I'll still recommend this place for its rate and amenities, but it's abit far from kuta if you're taking a taxi or grab.
