This is a very special place where you can appreciate the restored architecture and enjoy the modern luxuries at the same time.We stayed 1 night and enjoyed the hospitality as well as the main house architecture. The landscaping is nicely done as well.Last but not least, we greatly appreciated the host's recommendation and help for dinner options :)

A space that exceeds your expectations is waiting for you!An old folk house in Kijimadaira Village, Shinshu The surrounding countryside blends in with the group of old folk houses, and you will be surprised at the gap between the image of the exterior and the interior.I was moved by the warm and heartfelt hospitality of the newly immigrated couple.The cuisine is creatively prepared by the proprietress, and there is a wide selection of alcoholic beverages.It's a hidden inn that I don't want to tell too much about.

In this hotel’s garden, there is an old chimney made of bricks. They explained that their buildings had been used as a Japanese Sake Brewery until decades before, that they have bought these buildings from its previous owner and that they have remade it to start their hotel.We are really satisfied with their actually delicious dinner and breakfast. We could enjoy the excellent dinner, breakfast and various kinds of the native Japanese sake. They are really awesome and delicious!We have been to this hotel in last December. They said that there are Two (2) rooms for visitors and One (1) dining room. About these rooms for visitors, they said that those rooms had been used as the storages of the sake barrels decades before and that they have renewed them as the visitors’ rooms.About the visitors’ room, they are air conditioned very well and accompanied with the large and really conformable shower room.From the nearest train station it took about Twenty (20) minutes. They said that they can pick up and take the visitors between the near train stations and their hotel. In addition, they said that they could take us to the near ski fields at Shiga Kogen and Kijimadaira if we are interested in skiing and snowboarding.
