A discreet and attentive couple introduces you to Japanese culture. With onsen and typical lunch in the establishment. At the foot of the slopes. Restaurants nearby. A favorite for this address and its owners.

A very nice discovery and great meetings with the owners who are adorable; don't expect the comfort of a 4 star but live the Japanese experience. The common areas are shared (toilets, onsen) and everything is perfectly clean. Thank you to the owners for their kindness and especially if you can book a dinner for two or not, don't hesitate because it is remarkable (traditional Japanese cuisine), plentiful and frankly very reasonable in price. We loved our stay and I think we will come back ;-)

Super great place, we stayed here for three daysI was a little late on the first night, but the old man and grandma still prepared a super sumptuous dinner for me. However, as soon as we arrived at the hotel, the old man immediately asked us to have dinner first and wait for the rest after we were full. Pushing the suitcase uphill, I was very touched after seeing the prepared meals, and the dishes are very rich and diverse. There are unexpected surprises for breakfast and dinner every day. Even I, who cooks every day, can't cook such rich dishes. I recommend it to anyone who comes to ski or I am a hot spring bather. It is great value for money. The room is very authentic Japanese tatami. I have experienced a great life.I am Taiwanese🇹🇼 from Australia

(Edit: seriously foreigners, there’s a reason every single Japanese that stays here eats breakfast and dinner in.) Great place, so close to the ski field it may as well be ski in/out. Lovely hosts as the other reviewers have said. Get the breakfast and organise to have dinner here at least a few nights if you’re staying. Dinner is a fun and varied experience, much better than what you’ll get at the local restaurants.

The accommodation is clean and the food is delicious. It's right next to the Nagasaka Gondola, and the cost performance is great. The only drawback is that the indoor bath is small. It's full for 3 people. It's perfect for plans with a bath or for people who prefer an outside bath and don't mind an indoor bath.

Very warm and comfortable B&BBooking accommodation in a B&B in Japan for the first timeI was a little nervous before departureUpon arriving at the B&B, the owner greeted me kindly.Let the tension completely disappearThe B&B is run by a pair of lovely grandparentsGuest accommodation rooms are located on the second floorWhen we arrived, grandpa saw that we had a lot of luggage. Also helped carry luggage upstairs. Then he took us to the room and carefully introduced the facilities and check-in matters.Grandpa can speak some English and he can speak some Japanese. No problem with communication at allBefore departure, I sent a letter to the guests asking if they could entrust the boss to help buy ski passes. The boss also wrote down our needs on our check-in formvery attentiveThis trip lasted five days and four nights in total. The breakfast prepared by grandparents every morning is not the same.I feel quite amazingThe room will be tidied and cleaned every dayIt's like going back to your grandparents' houseExcept for skiing and returning to the room, it’s just a wasteTime to check out on the last dayGrandma also gave us two local applesAnd told us to be careful on the roadIt’s so cozy

The location of the Ryokan is fantastically strategic. It's is only 200m walk from the skii lift. The host is super friendly and nice. The house is kept so clean it rivals any 5 stars hotel. Anyone who hasn't stayed in a ryokan before, this is an amazing pick.
