Kokowa is the top hotel at Yomise Ski Resort. My husband and I are pruning the trees in the garden from spring to fall.

The quality is pretty good for 2 nights and 4 meals. The public bathhouse (hot spring) is small but very comfortable. You can enjoy bathing alone at around 3:30 in the afternoon. We are staying for two people. The room is quite spacious and has no smell. You can choose where to make the bed by yourself. If you choose higher-priced food, If you can eat the local beef shabu-shabu hot pot, we choose the affordable one. Although it is not top-notch, it is still delicious enough. Overall I thought the hotel was quite comfortable and a great place to relax.A few things that can be improved:1. Some toilets that are not frequently used are in poor condition (blocked)2. TV failure in the room3. It would be better if the route from the ski resort to the hotel could be informed in advance. We carried our snowboards and climbed a 10-minute slope from the bottom of the Yuko Onsen Resort to find the hotel.

The building seemed old, but I felt it was well-maintained.I was able to stay with peace of mind as they had taken thorough measures to prevent infectious diseases. The food is quite large, but the rice is delicious! The miso soup is also delicious! The pickles are all homemade by the hostess and are delicious! So you can eat it all. It's just painful after that. The location is also great, as you can access the second quad lift just by crossing the parking lot. However, if you drive a car, you will have to climb a slight hill, so depending on the road conditions, it may be a little difficult for people who are not used to driving on snowy roads in 2WD.The bath at the inn doesn't seem to be a hot spring, but they let me take a bath in the morning, and I was also allowed to take a bath after checking out, so I was extremely grateful to them for helping me change and clean up after skiing.I feel that this is an inn that I would like to stay at again when I come to this area in the future.

This hotel was close to Yomase Onsen Ski Resort, and it was an 11-minute walk from there. After snowboarding, a man and a woman in their 20s walked to the hotel, but since it was at the top of an uphill slope, it felt far and strenuous even though it took only 11 minutes. I felt like it would be nice to have a taxi. I think you can afford it by car. Some people came by car.Dinner was delicious and included a hot pot. They gave us 2 servings of rice, but there was enough for each of us to eat 2 bowls each, so we were very satisfied with the amount we could eat when we were hungry after snowboarding. The room I stayed in was 10 tatami mats, no refrigerator,The bath and toilet were shared, but they were clean and quiet, and although I took a bath around 10pm, it was private. The women's bath had 6 sinks. There were two items left behind: body soap and shampoo and conditioner. There was one hair dryer. The bathroom seemed to be open 24 hours a day and was cleaned at 9am.When I went to the shop to buy ice cream at night after 10pm, it was closed, but the manager was kind enough to open it for me.For breakfast, I was surprised at the size of the salmon compared to the size of the plate, but overall it was delicious and satisfying!I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.thank you very much.
