A nice, reasonably priced Japanese inn. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is good (not included), and the in-house hot spring is really good - I used it 3 times!

Landlady and daughter! There is love there! It feels like the good old Obama Onsen has been carefully maintained to this day. There is also a private bath for families, and the room with a sunset view is wonderful.

The food is delicious and the accommodation is good value for money. The parking lot is behind the building and there is no name written on it, so you may get lost when looking for it. You are free to bring your own drinks with your meal. There is no bath or toilet in the room, and there is one shared refrigerator.

The hot spring was small, but the water was good. Actually, it can't be compared to more expensive places, but considering the cost-effectiveness, it was okay. The walls are thin, so soundproofing isn't great, and the doors are low so if you're tall you can hit your head. The room is spacious, but the teapot is wet from the previous guest's drink, so... don't have high expectations and come with an empty mind.

This is a hot spring inn located along the national highway. The parking lot was a gravel lot in the back. It can hold 4-5 cars. You can access the inn from the back entrance.Everyone, including the proprietress, was cheerful and kind, and I was able to relax in a homely atmosphere. There are private baths and large communal baths that require reservations. It was a salt spring typical of Obama Onsen, and it was a very pleasant hot spring.Although the room was old, it was well-cleaned and had air conditioning and Wi-Fi. Since it faces the national highway, you can hear some noise from passing cars, so if you would like a quiet room, we recommend asking for a room facing the mountain. The food was delicious and filling, with fresh sashimi and shabu-shabu.There is a supermarket across the road, making it convenient for shopping. It was also possible to bring food in.

The inside of the hotel and the rooms are old, but the staff's customer service was very pleasant. The bath was also great, and I definitely want to come back to relax! If you have the time, I think it would be a good idea to spend a whole day wandering around Obama.

A room without meals is 5,000 yen, breakfast only is 6,000 yen, and the cheapest plan that includes two meals is 8,500 yen. This time I stayed on a plan of 11,500 yen including two meals. If you consider the difference in price, you would have paid more than double 5,500 yen for a dinner that cost 2,500 yen. However, my honest impression is that the content is a little strange. What has changed as a result of paying 3000 yen more?I wonder how poor the meal would have been if it was an 8,500 yen plan...From my experience, these types of inns serve a lot of food, and the top-of-the-line plans always come with a filling meal, but this one feels like the portions are smaller. If this was available for 8,500 yen with two meals, I would be satisfied, but I honestly don't understand why I paid an additional 3,000 yen.In that case, I regret that I should have eaten something like Obama Champon at a nearby restaurant. It's not that the taste is bad, but rather that it's disappointing and the cost performance is too poor considering I chose an expensive plan.If you change to a more expensive plan and there's no change in dinner that makes up for the difference, I think it's better to only have one half-board plan from the beginning. In addition, on the official website, ``Meals will basically be prepared in your room,'' and on the Rakuten Travel facility introduction page regarding new coronavirus infection prevention measures, ``We will refrain from eating in the large hall, and both breakfast and dinner will be prepared.'' It is written that the food will be served in your room or at a private venue, but this is a complete lie. It's usually a meal in a large hall.Similar reports have been raised in other reviews, so it's probably not just this issue. Of course, there is no explanation whatsoever on this point. The hot springs were nice because they were fed directly from the source, but it was inconvenient that the water pressure in the shower was too weak. The force of a watering can watering the plants. I think it can be difficult for women with a lot of hair. The building as a whole is old, but the shared toilet is Western-style with a washlet, and the door in the room I stayed in was in good condition.Since there weren't that many guests staying in the room, there were no situations where I couldn't use the toilet because someone was in it, so I didn't have any inconveniences.I was left with a good impression of the staff as they were attentive to details, such as asking if I would like a refill of rice or a cup of coffee in the morning. It's a shame because I don't think they would have felt dissatisfied if the explanation of the facilities and accommodation plan had been appropriate.
