I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Mikuniya. My room was spacious and relaxing. The service was impeccable and friendly. The tatami style bed was harder than I'm used to, but overall I would definitely recommend staying here. It's a few minutes walk from the station and easy walking distance from all onsens.

I stayed there about a year and a half ago. It is relatively convenient as it is close to the center of Kinosaki Onsen town. There is a parking lot, although it is a little far away. Dinner was a delicious crab course. However, I made a reservation at Agoda at a bargain price, but as I was slowly enjoying my drink, the veteran-looking maid said to me with a somewhat condescending tone, "You're using Agoda, right?" He spoke to me and rushed me to eat. I have stayed at many ryokan in the past, but this was my first experience. Does Agoda have a bad reputation? I felt that this is a ryokan that changes its services depending on the guest.

The other day, I made a reservation through a travel website and used this inn.It takes about 5 minutes on foot from JR Kinosaki Onsen Station. Some parts of the inn have been renovated while retaining the old-fashioned atmosphere, so it feels very clean. The room was very clean and I was very satisfied with the bed, toilet, sink, and new home appliances. The price was around 30,000 yen for 2 adults for 1 night and 2 days including breakfast.Personally, I was satisfied with the price, so it was very good.

Famous hot spring area, relatively close to the station, 4 types of private baths that can be used without reservation, room meal with crab dinner, accommodation for 1 personApproximately 30,000 yen under these conditions. amazing! However, it's not like I got a perfect score of 100 points, and there were a few things that were a little off, but not big enough to give me a negative score. However, the big negative point is that the toilet and washroom are smelly! In particular, the toilet, or rather the ventilation fan in the toilet, smells bad, and it's not bad right after I enter, but when the motion sensor turns on the lights and ventilation fan...Did someone relieve themselves inside the ventilation fan? It smells like...Well, that's to be expected, or rather, it seems like the living room has been renovated, but the toilet looks like the old one.The toilet is the place that gets dirty the most, so I think it's the part that needs to be renovated the most. The good points are that it is a good inn, so I would like to fix the bad parts and make it perfect.

It's on the shopping street in front of the station. The location is very convenient. There is a mini supermarket opposite and there is also a FamilyMart nearby.Although it is a smaller traditional inn, the service is friendly, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the meals are good. For those who dare not go to the large public baths, the hotel itself has four free Kakiri hot springs, which can be used individually or individually depending on the size. Use it with your family.

I initially booked a ryokan further down the street, but due to my itinerary, I re-booked this one closer to the train station, and it was a really good choice.I arrived earlier than the original check-in time and planned to leave my luggage there, but thankfully they allowed me to check in early. The ryokan was clean and all the staff were very friendly.I've been to other hot spring hotels in Hakone and Beppu, but this was my first time staying in a proper ryokan. In particular, the Hana bath attached to the ryokan was newly built, so it was clean and pretty, and the water temperature was just right, making it great for soaking. The next morning, I went out for a hot spring pilgrimage and left my ticket behind and thought about paying on-site to go in, but I gave up and just took a walk and came back. However, I wasn't that disappointed because I went into the ryokan's hot spring bath once more early in the morning.Dinner and breakfast were served nicely and were delicious. If I had known that tofu sushi would be served for dinner, I wouldn't have asked for rice, but I was too full. They lent me a pretty yukata so I could feel comfortable, and they prepared a separate, more comfortable yukata in the closet, which was even better when coming back from the hot springs. It was a happy trip because cherry blossoms were blooming beautifully in every city I visited during the 7-night, 8-day itinerary, but among them, the cherry blossoms I saw on my morning walk in Kinosaki Onsen were the prettiest because they matched the quiet and serene atmosphere. Other cities are also pretty, but I was a little tired due to the many tourists, but I really enjoyed my time in Kinosaki Onsen because I felt relatively relaxed.
