Thank you for staying with us for one night during our trip to Fukushima. We had a wonderful and fun night. This is an inn that I would definitely like to visit again.(The following is longer)This year marks 11 years since the Great East Japan Earthquake. For the past few years, I have started traveling around Fukushima during the autumn foliage season, and I also try to see earthquake-related facilities along the way. However, if you go north from Iwaki, there are few options for lodging in Hamadori, which is a problem. This time, I decided to find this inn in Miyakoji Town, which is a little inland, based on the high ratings and reviews on Google Maps. It's a small town nestled in the mountains that you'd easily pass by unless you have something to do, so even before visiting, I thought it would be nice to be able to experience the natural, unpretentious side of Fukushima. The building faces Route 399, and there is a parking lot behind the building. The inside of the hotel has been beautifully renovated and you can spend your time without any inconvenience. It's basically a quiet place, but there's a temple nearby and you can hear the loud bells ringing in the evening and morning, so I think you'll be surprised if it's your first time (lol)This is an inn that we can recommend to people who enjoy such experiences.Meals will be served at a restaurant with a nice atmosphere.Although we are supposed to be inland, the fact that we were served seafood such as raw oysters and white fish exceeded my expectations.I don't have any photos, but of course we were treated to mountain delicacies such as mushroom soup.By the way, on the day I stayed there, there was a regular customer who was staying for a long time for work, and I started talking with him after he had given me a drink to accompany my meal...I had a great time from there! The host was a wonderful person, the regulars who had already become familiar with Miyakoji were interesting people, and perhaps because I was an oddball (me), it was a very lively night. After the regulars returned to their rooms and took a breather, we listened to the owner talk about his experiences at the time of the earthquake.I felt like I was able to get a glimpse of the real state of Fukushima by hearing about the experiences and thoughts of people living in the area, which is difficult to get into just by looking around at earthquake-related facilities. The next morning, we left the hotel with a good meal.Although it was only one night, we had a truly wonderful experience, and the high ratings and reviews are very convincing.I want to see the husband, wife, and regulars again! This is a wonderful inn that will make you think.*Please note that we are not participating in the current travel support program, cannot make reservations online, and do not have a hot spring, but regardless of these things, this is a very reasonable inn.If you are mainly a sightseeing person, we recommend it to those who want to enjoy a simple and pure trip to Fukushima.I hope those who go have a wonderful experience.
