Beautiful accommodation in the centre of gujo. Minutes walk to all the good restaurants, cafes and sights. Amazing welcome from the hosts with a tour of the house and reviewing a list of recommendations of things to do in town and places to eat. Amazing historic machiya style house which has been architecturally renovated with modern touches such as new bathroom, kitchen, toilet and bathroom. I don't think you could find a better accommodation in gujo if you tried. Hosts are always available to answer questions or help with making reservations. Can't recommend this place enough!

Stayed with a couple of friends. At first, I thought it would be a little difficult to enter since it's an "art hotel" that is a renovated old folk house, but it wasn't that bad. The room was large and comfortable, and the location was a little far from the main street, so it was quiet (but you can get to the lively area in less than 5 minutes on foot), and it was more relaxing than I expected. It was during the Gujo Odori festival, which was being held for the first time in three years (or rather, that's what I was aiming for), and I was told that Gujo Odori classes were being held at the Old Government Building Memorial Hall. The service was also excellent, such as preparing yukata and geta for the dance. The kitchen, bathroom, and washroom have been beautifully renovated, and I was very satisfied with them.
