I used it for 2 nights during the September holidays. There are multiple types of sites, and I used the glass site.Since it is a large site, there is not enough space for just one family, and there is plenty of space even if you build a large tent for two families.Since it is an abandoned school, the reception and other facilities are in the school building, so it feels nostalgic. Also, the restrooms are clean, so it's great for families with children.Part of the schoolyard is a dog run, so campers with dogs can also enjoy it.

We camped at a premium site.It was quiet and calm.Although the school is closed, it is kept very clean both inside and outside.I felt good that the garbage was separated properly. It feels great to be able to play in the pool. The shower was also clean and comfortable. The signal is bad because it's in the mountains, but there's free wifi, which was helpful. The staff were also nice.It was spacious and I was able to spend my time comfortably.Next time, I would like to bring my dog along with me camping.

The tent site built on the site of the school is raised with fine gravel, so it has excellent water drainage. Restrooms are located within the school building and are available 24 hours a day. Staff are not on duty at night. The facility is surrounded by an electric fence, probably because there are a lot of wild animals, but some of them seem to sneak in, so we were told to be careful with garbage and food. There is a possibility that it will be taken in the front room.

I stayed for 2 nights, but due to heavy rain, I couldn't stay in the tent and stayed in the classroom. The strong wind threatened to blow the tent away and it was damaged.

Former Kimita Elementary School. It was deep in the mountains of Takahagi. I went there for a dog event. What used to be a schoolyard was turned into a lawn, and it turned out to be a fairly large dock run, which was nice. There is also a sauna experience, and it looks like you can jump into the pool after entering the sauna.

It was used from May 2nd to 3rd.I went there and it was really good. The managers in the staff room are also very friendly and kind, and above all, the toilets and shower rooms are clean. It was my first time using a shower while camping. And it also connects to wifi.It was an extra-large glass area, but it felt so good that I hurriedly contacted my son, who lives alone in Hitachi, and asked if he'd like to come over for dinner, and we ended up having one more person for a few hours. However, the manager kindly agreed and was a very pleasant person, which made me feel happy as well.As long as we campers who rent a place follow the rules and manners properly, I think it's basically up to the campers. His attitude was great, and I was really glad I went. There is a big difference in temperature between day and night, so campers like my family have to be careful about their equipment, but I think the scenery is nice, it gives you a nostalgic feeling, and you can feel open. This is a recommended campsite.
