The location is a bit far from the main onsen street and there was construction on the roads along the way to the ryokan, but this is probably what makes it so great! The view I got from my room was beautiful! A mountain view with a quaint little pond. I’ve seen ducks and cranes stop by the pond too! I think this is a sight you’d only get in Kinosaki at Oyado Seri because it’s away from the busy streets. It’s very peaceful and quiet here, a great place for relaxing. Right when I arrived, the lobby is nicely decorated and inviting. I was greeted by Serizawa-san, who runs this ryokan with his mother. They brought our carry on up to our room for us. The view from the lobby was beautiful. I could see the mountain and a large pond. Sometimes there’s a stork and ducks in the pond. This is also the same view we got from our room.

The hospitality of all the employees is wonderful.We used the free private bath. I was able to use the private bath immediately after checking in, but I was surprised at how quickly they responded as they had already prepared a baby chair for me.The rice was just the right amount and delicious. The dinner dishes were served one by one, and the pace was just perfect.At night, we were given a free shuttle to the hot spring town, so we were able to enjoy a different atmosphere than during the day. The inn is a little far from the hot spring town, but they provide a free shuttle service and it's not that far away, so I didn't feel any inconvenience.I left something at my hotel, but they kindly called me and sent it to my house.It was my first overnight trip with my kids, and I had some great memories.This is an inn I would like to stay at again.

My family of four stayed here for one night during the Obon holidays.It was a child-friendly inn.I was so happy that they prepared fireworks for the kids, and even put a child chair cushion on me when I ate without me having to ask.The food was delicious, not too much, not too little, and made with seasonal ingredients.The room was also clean and well maintained.Although we did not go to the outdoor bath this time, my child thoroughly enjoyed bathing in the hot spring at the inn, and my 6-year-old son took a bath a total of 5 times.It was a bit far from the inn to the public bath, but apparently there is a shuttle bus, so I'd like to go there next time when my kids are a little older.

Excellent Ryokan!In addition to being extremely pretty and traditional, this Ryokan offers an exceptional view of the lake opposite.The staff is very very nice and dressed in very beautiful traditional outfits.Dinner is served in the room and breakfast on the second floor, you really feel at home in Japan in this Ryokan!Thank you so much !

It was nice to be able to check in at this ryokan until 19:00. Most of the nearby ryokans close at 18:00 for check-in, so I was semi-forced to choose a place to stay, but it was a good enough ryokan. I'm going to write down what I felt during my trip.1. The lady boss, her family, and the staff respond kindly.2. There is a lake and river right next to it, so the view is great.3. Depending on the date, one person can stay at a ryokan relatively inexpensively.4. It may be inconvenient because it is located in a relatively remote area within Kinosaki, but this inconvenience is relatively less as we operate a pick-up service.

I went to Kinosaki Onsen on a whim during Golden Week. Luckily, there was a cancellation, so I was able to stay. Although it is a little far from the hot spring town, we can provide transportation every time. The food was also very delicious.

Recommend. The best service. Pick up from all the drop off spots from 7:00am-11:00pm. Delicious breakfast. The room is very clean. The staff is very nice.

I wanted to eat some delicious crab, so I stayed there at the recommendation of my younger brother.As mentioned in other reviews, this is an inn full of hospitality.I ate raw crab for the first time in my life, and it was super delicious.Mr. Nakai peeled it for me and it was easy to eat.This is a recommended inn.

An inn run by a family. The son is in charge of picking up and dropping off the car, and the mother is the proprietress. The landlady is very elegant and will make you feel comfortable during your stay. The atmosphere of the inn is also good. The meal is crab. Make a reservation for 1.5 cups per person. Of course, all the courses were very delicious.It's fun to visit the outdoor baths at Kinosaki Onsen, but when I took a bath at the inn the next morning, I could see the river flowing in front of me from the large glass bath, and it had a nice view.The inn is located outside the center of Kinosaki Onsen Town, so the only inconvenience is that you will need to take a bus to get there if you want to take a walk and feel the atmosphere of the hot spring town. However, I was able to see the view from the bathhouse because it was built in that location. When you think about it, it's hard to decide whether the center is better or the current location is better. You cannot see the river surface at night, so please enjoy your morning bath.

We stayed 2 days at this ryokan in June. The welcome was very warm, I appreciated being able to speak a little Japanese with the lady who spoke gently and simply so that I could understand. The room service provided by a young woman was also incredible: simplicity, gentleness, efficiency with a high level of service. There is an on-demand shuttle service provided by the manager, it is very convenient and we are dropped off in front of the town's onsen. The view from the room is of great beauty: a green and bucolic landscape, typically Japanese, with a pair of storks nesting nearby. Special mention for dinner and breakfast: exceptional, fresh and refined dishes. Thank you to all the staff for this incredible stay. We will come back!

It was my second time using it.The building feels a little old in some places, but the room was spacious and clean.The food was delicious and filled me up with the platter of local fish and the shabu-shabu.Also, the private family bath was so nice that I was done visiting the outside baths.

Although the inn was a bit retro, the service and customer service were at the level of a luxury inn.As for the meals, I was able to enjoy them leisurely by eating them in my room.Since it was a birthday plan, they even had a cake prepared.I arrived late and checked in due to other sightseeing, but I regret it because I wish I had checked in earlier and enjoyed Kinosaki to the fullest.The transportation to and from the hot spring town was polite, and even when I forgot my hot spring pass at the inn and had to go back to get it, they didn't look bad and I was impressed by how considerate they were.I hope you continue to provide great customer service!
