Accommodation period: October 2024Reservation grade: Guest room YuzukiAssigned room: Guest room Yuzuki*Since I spend about 150 nights a year both in Japan and overseas, this is mostly a memo for myself. The main things to focus on are bathing, gym, and laundry. I don't really care about cleanliness.■OverviewThis is a hotel with very high cost performance, as it is a short walk from Iizaka Onsen Station, has a large communal bath that can be reserved for private use, and rooms of sufficient size. It's tough not being able to enter the hotel itself until 3:00 pm, but it can't be helped considering the small number of people operating the hotel. It's suitable for people who don't need fancy meals or facilities and just want to stay overnight and enjoy the hot springs. However, it is not recommended for people with mobility issues.■LocationConveniently located 5 minutes walk from Iizaka Onsen Station. There are no affordable supermarkets nearby, and the nearest convenience store for food and drinks is the one in front of the station. If you go to the other side of the river in front of the hotel, you will find many public baths, pubs, and restaurants.■Indoor-WidthIt's spacious enough that it's too big for one person.-scenerySee photoAlthough the room itself is located in a slightly higher position, it doesn't have a particularly good view, and you can only see the parking lot and private houses (though I think it varies depending on the room).-WifiActual measurement around 30Mb/s-bathtubNone because it is a type of room without a bath. However, a large hot spring bath with good spring quality is available for exclusive use, and it is spacious and very comfortable.(Style of putting up a "bathing in progress" sign to prevent others from entering)Furthermore, since it is a small hotel with only 5 rooms, it is unlikely that you will have to wait for your turn to take a bath even if the hotel is fully booked. When I stayed there, there was only one other person staying there, and I took a bath several times, but every time I went, I was able to get in right away.-Hot water temperature *Regarding the large bathNo problem at all, piping hot water comes out.-Power of hot water *Regarding the large bathNo problems at all, it's quite powerful-Bed hardnessHard (because the futon is laid on tatami mats), but the mattress under the futon is soft-refrigeratorSlightly smaller, the limit for 1.5 liter size plastic bottles is two.-Security boxcan be-OutletThere's something on the wall-hangerfour-balconynone-tv setcan be-dryerLocated in the public bath-toothbrushcan be-Noise (adjacent room, outdoor)No disturbing noise from neighboring rooms or outdoors■Gymnone■LaundryNo coin laundry facilities in the hotel■CleaningNone for one night■MealsNo meals for overnight stay■StaffSince there were only two people (the person who seemed to be the husband and one woman), I couldn't expect detailed service, but I was able to have a comfortable stay in the homely atmosphere, where I was greeted with friendly conversations at the front desk.■Others・Check-in is from 15:00, but you can't check-in or rather enter the inn itself until 15:00 (the staff will come and open the gate at 15:00), so be sure to arrive early and leave your luggage. Please note that it is impossible to go sightseeing around the area. When I arrived around 14:20, the entrance to the inn was closed and I didn't hear a single sound, so maybe it had suddenly closed down? That's what I thought lol・Structurally, if the ground floor is on the 1st floor, the hotel reception (entrance) is on the 2nd floor, the bathroom is on the 3rd floor, and the rooms are on the 4th floor. As they all have stairs, it may be quite difficult for the elderly or people with large luggage. Honestly, this hotel is not recommended for people with mobility issues.・There are manga inside the museum.・The nearby Gyoza Terui is famous for its gyoza. It is said to be a popular restaurant, but when I visited on a weekday night, I was able to enter the restaurant right away. However, there were more customers than other stores in the area, so if you want to be sure, you'll need to make a reservation.・Transportation IC cards such as SUICA cannot be used on the Iizaka Line, but VISA Touch can be used.
