I was driving to Osaka for an event and wanted to take a break before returning, so I looked for a nearby inn with a parking lot and found this place.I usually work the night shift, so after the event I checked in at a convenient time of 16:00 (you can pay by card), went to bed quickly, checked out after 11:00 p.m., and went home. The inside of the building was very quiet, probably because it was a Friday afternoon (although I could hear a few children playing in the neighborhood, but I'm used to sleeping during the day, so I slept soundly without any problems). ).The toilet and bath are shared, but there was a sink at the entrance of the room, which was convenient. The room was equipped with a yukata, bath towel, and face towel, as well as matcha tea bags and an electric kettle, so I was able to boil water on the spot and enjoy matcha. There were no sweets etc.The bath was set at 40 degrees, which was a little too hot for me, so I just took a shower to wash my body and finished off with a foot bath. 😅The staff at the inn were very kind and I was able to have a comfortable rest.If I have another chance, I would definitely use it again.

I stayed in a 4.5 tatami room.Although it was late July, the air conditioner worked really well, which was a big help for me as I tend to get hot!The bath was also shared, but the water pressure in the shower was fine.Imazato Ryokan itself is located just a little way from the main street, but I think it's easy to find because there was an easy-to-understand Imazato Ryokan sign and parking lot along the main street!

I was looking for a comfortable accommodation in Osaka that was within walking distance to Osaka Castle Park, and this one came up.The reviews were very good, so I made a reservation. The room is equipped with a tatami mat, a mattress, and an air conditioner. The bath and refrigerator are shared.I get the impression that there are many guests from abroad.I was able to stay in a private room with a key for the price of a dormitory.I stayed for 2 nights and it was very comfortable.I would like to use it again when visiting Kansai. We also had breakfast on the second day.Although it's off the beaten track, I'm glad that it gave me a reason to relax.

Recommended if it's your first time staying at a Japanese ryokan. Yukata experience available. The owners are also friendly.

Nowadays, accommodation in Osaka is very expensive, so 10,000 yen for 2 nights is quite attractive. It was like going to sleep over at a friend's house, and I wanted to go again because they had all the volumes of Magi and I could only read part way through. It was actually free considering I was going to Mankitsu. However, I don't recommend it if you're going to be out drinking until midnight. It's a family business, so I apologize for the inconvenience.
