If you like to sleep until 9-10 am then this is the worst place to be and I’m not even talking about the noise from the streets. The worst part is the stuff itself. The stuff is making most of the noise, probably because they don’t have a manager here but expect every morning for some girls to come and to do their work on the computer in the common area and they are laughing and screaming with the maintenance guys. I’m living in the last room on the other side and they wake me up everyday. Today they turned on the tv on maximum volume with the local music and even if I put white noise on the computer so I can continue sleeping I can still hear the disturbing loud music. Don’t even think about writing them cause no one will answer.

For two years straight, I've always chosen to stay at Kultur Umalas whenever I go to Bali.In 2023, I spent a full month in the super cozy female dorm, and I was thrilled cz surprisingly it was so clean. The entire staff was friendly and cool, making it easy to chat with many guests there because the lounge was comfy for work and socializing. In 2024, I tried staying in their private room for over two weeks. It was really compact and perfect for solo living, with a smart TV and wifi, though the internet could be slow at times, it wasn't a big deal.Overall, it was a 5/5 best experience, and I highly recommend staying here for a long time. I always recommend it to people to stay in here. AND ALSO, THE LOCATION IS EXTREMELY STRATEGIC, 7 minutes to Seminyak area, 5 minutes to Berawa and Canggu area.As a bonus, there are two loyal dogs, Blacky and Upin, who accompany my daily life, they're super cute and friendlyThank you so much Kultur, much much much loveeee.

Stay in their standard private room with a cozy and well designed interior. However, it seems that regular maintenance is needed. On the positive side, amenities like a water heater in bathroom and access to Netflix contribute to a pleasant experience. Thank you!

This hostel room is on the top floor.Downstairs u/ Woodfire Burger, and closed until 12pm.Not bad for just a night's rest at a cheap price... 90K/night and get breakfast... oh yes, there's hot water too, you know...There is a dog but it's tame, likes to guard it near the parking lot...

Good for if you need a place to stay for a night or two. But it's a bit dirty and uncomfortable in some places, so I probably wouldn't stay here for an extended time.

overall good, very comfortable, homie, cleanliness is okay but maybe the restaurant section can be upgraded a bit so that the guest knows that there is a restaurant and can be used as an option when hungry so no need to go for a taxi

The price of the accomodation is pretty good for the Canggu Area. The beds are pretty nice aswell.Unfortunately I have to say that I cannot recommend this hostel.The toilets and showers are dirty and dont feel comfortable.In addition the breakfast („that is included“) is very poor. You get only toast with jam (wdf).

Don’t expect what you see from the photos. I stayed in the private room, and the private bathroom almost felt like it’s still in the middle of construction, and aircon was so dirty so I was really not sure if I should turn this on.The worst part was the noise. I could hear everything outside of my room, all the noises from motorbikes, dogs barking, noises from aircon, water flowing from the share bathroom. I’m not a sensitive person regarding a noise, but it was way beyond I can ignore. I couldn’t sleep at all, and of course they refused to refund the rest of my reservation, so I had to give up other 4 days and book a new stay.Maybe it’s fair if you think about the price, but for me, I didn’t expect this from the reviews I read, and photos I saw from Google map and hotel websites.
