Visited on New Year's Day in 2024.I stayed here for one night while on a trip to Otaki Station to buy a iron seal.Of course, business hotels are comfortable and cheap, but these old inns are very quaint and it was a great experience. As a side note, I learned for the first time that Honda Tadakatsu, one of the Tokugawa Four Heavenly Kings, played by Yuki Yamada in last year's NHK taiga drama ``What's Wrong with Ieyasu'' was the first lord of Otaki Castle. Now that I think about it, I am reminded of the scene where Ieyasu distributes territory to each military commander upon entering Edo.When I arrived around 17:30 in the evening, the room was warm and heated, so it was almost hot.I quickly took a bath and once I was warmed up, I had dinner. It's been a while since I ate in my room.Everything on the menu is delicious and filling.I got moderately drunk from the Chu-Hi I bought at a convenience store on the way there and went to bed.I had to go to the bathroom twice on the way, but there was a kerosene fan heater in the hallway, so I appreciated your consideration.I had breakfast at 7:00 a.m. I was very satisfied with the delicious Japanese inn breakfast.I think I was probably the only one staying there, but I had a very quaint inn all to myself.Thank you to the landlady for your help.Thank you very much.

The atmosphere is nice, but the landlady? The response was disappointing.

A long-established inn that has been around since the Edo period.Arrive in about 10 minutes on foot from Otaki Station. Most of the city's famous tourist attractions are within walking distance. The parking lot is next to the inn.A reasonable price of less than 10,000 yen, including dinner and breakfast the next day.The amount of food is plentiful and the taste is good.I also received a travel coupon worth 4,000 yen.The Showa era atmosphere inside the inn is unique to this place and is very relaxing. It's full of warmth that newer hotels don't have. However, Wi-Fi is fully equipped and there are no problems with internet connection.I would like to stay there again.I would like to take the Isumi Railway next time.

Stayed for one night with breakfast on 2023/01/15.A good inn to spend a quiet time alone. Or rather, my grandmother's house. The building is old, so the rooms don't lock, voices echo, and the hallways get cold. However, there is heating and a kotatsu, there is wifi, there is a washlet, and the water pressure in the shower in the bath is unusually strong. The futon is also fluffy. WiFi connection information is posted on the router located on the first floor. Payment can also be made via PayPal or various credit cards. The gap between buildings and facilities around here is interesting.

It's a beautiful old building. There is a cute bathroom full of Taisho romance,The playfulness of the person who built the inn was outstanding.Bedding that smells good. Heating in the hallway. Restaurant. The current owner's attention to detail, including delicious food,It was comfortable everywhere.I think it's difficult to maintain this level these days. Not only did I like it, but my 23-year-old daughter also liked it and said she would like to come again. The shrine and Japanese confectionery shop that I learned about were also wonderful.I really wanted to visit you again.Next time, I would like to go to the morning market you mentioned.
