This vacation home is located in the mountains of Kyonan Town, Chiba Prefecture, about 10 minutes by car from the Kyonan Yasuda Interchange on the expressway.Access is also good, as it takes about 90 minutes to get there from Tokyo if the Aqua Line is open. The entrance is a little difficult to find, but it is located at the end of the side street from Nagasa Kaido and up the slope. The first thing you notice when you arrive is the beautiful view. It is located on a slightly elevated location, so you can see the mountains of Chiba Prefecture. This alone makes me feel like I've come to a special place. The facility is a renovated old house, but it was very nice to have modern comforts such as a drum-type washing machine and a kitchen with the latest equipment. There are multiple bedrooms, a Japanese-style room, and a living room-like space, so I think it's fun not only with friends but also with multiple families. You can go there in the summer to have a barbecue, or in the winter to look at the starry sky, and I think it's the best facility to spend a relaxing time while getting in touch with nature!

I stayed here as a workcation. From the location to the renovated old folk house, we had a very beautiful and relaxing time. The location assumes you have a car, but there is a supermarket where you can buy local ingredients about 10 minutes away by car, so we bought the ingredients there and cooked our meals, and the BBQ while watching the sunset was the best. There were plenty of amenities, so I only needed a change of clothes. Next time, I would like to visit you for a longer workday of about a week.

One night stay at a newly opened old folk house style inn in Kyonan Town, Chiba Prefecture.Although the building has a history, the inside has been renovated and is very clean, with a living room, dining room, and three bedrooms.Since the location is on a hill, the view from the chair on the wooden deck was wonderful, and I was able to spend an unusually relaxing time. I like renting a whole house because I can enjoy the privacy of being cut off from the outside world. The inn itself is self-catering, but it takes about 15 minutes by car from the inn to Hota Fishing Port. The supermarket sells fresh fish from the waters near Boso, and the nearby roadside station, which is a renovated Yasuda Elementary School, sells fresh vegetables at surprisingly low prices. We bought ingredients there and enjoyed cooking. It's about an hour and a half from Tokyo, so you can easily go there. I would like to use it again for private purposes, off-site work, golf competitions, etc.

I stayed there twice. I went to Golden Week once for about 3 days. It was so good that I stayed for a whole week during Obon. There are plenty of amenities, the rooms are clean, the location is great, the beds are soft, the kitchen is fully equipped, and there are no inconveniences at all. My family rents Airbnb all over the world to spend our summer vacations, and this is a high-quality accommodation that ranks in the top 5.This place is more than perfect! We stayed twice. 3 days in May and 7 days in August. The owner friendly welcomed us at check-in and we really enjoyed the stay at Morikaze. The room was very clean. They had the full kitchen Beds were perfect. Just 20 min drive access to the beautiful beaches, and you can't miss it! My family stayed a lot of Airbnb properties all over the globe, but Morikaze is seriously one of the best!!!

Went a few weeks back. Really enjoyed it.If you want off the beaten path, this is definitely the place. A bit of travel to get there (best to have a car) but it is well worth it perched high up on the mountain to give an excellent view from the massive wood deck and lawn. And only the sounds of nature. The sunset from the deck was awesome. The house is apparently 100 years old but modernized preserving a strong sense of old Japan. I didn't try the futons but the bed was one of the best ones I have used in any hotel. For food and drinks, you're on your own and must get yourself at the local store (15 min drive) but the kitchen and dining area was big enough to really enjoy cooking and make it feel like modern living away from it all. Would definitely stay again. Could even do a workation as the place had ample wifi and space to spread out.
