Used by a family of 3 in late August. There is no air conditioning, but it was cool and comfortable. The building, built in the Meiji period, has a very historical feel and is very quaint, and since there is only one group per day, I was able to spend my time relaxing without worrying. There are many dishes, the carp stew is delicious with no smell at all, and the handmade soba noodles made by the proprietress are also exquisite. In the morning, you can hear the sounds of birds and the sound of murmuring streams, and it feels great to feel nature. The landlady was polite and kind, not pushy, and made me feel very comfortable. The owner is the priest of Togakushi Shrine, and there is an altar inside the building, so I was able to pray in the morning and evening.

The rice is very carefully prepared and delicious. The carp stew is especially delicious. The exterior and interior of the building are beautiful, and you can spend a relaxing time here. The surroundings and the inside of the building are quiet, and the atmosphere is completely different from the city.It is also easily accessible to Togakushi Shrine, so I often go for a walk at the Oku shrine before breakfast.Even when I'm returning home after staying overnight, or when I'm busy with work, I find myself wondering when I should go next.

I took care of my elementary school daughter from November 19th. It was the first snow the day before and 15.20 cm had fallen. We started visiting Hokosha shrines at 10am, and by 3:30pm, our feet were so cold that the snow water had gotten into our shoes and we lost all sensation. We arrived at the hotel at 16:00. When I explained the situation, he brought a newspaper to my room and dried my shoes in front of the stove. The room was heated and comfortable. The changing room was also heated so I wasn't cold. The breakfast and dinner meals also used a lot of local vegetables, and the stewed carp was the best. The soba noodles were delicious, and we were served bread with buckwheat flour for breakfast, so we were able to fully enjoy Togakushi. My daughter also has a small appetite, but she snacked on it and thought it was delicious. Also, I was planning to pray at Chusha in the morning the next day, but the forecast was for rain, so when I asked about it, I was told that it would depend on my son's work schedule, but he would be able to see if I could worship in the morning at the shrine at the inn. I had a morning worship. It had been raining and snowing since the morning the next day, so I was really grateful to be able to experience morning worship at the lodging. I did not forget to donate the thatched roof and put it in the offering box. Also, if I have a chance, I would definitely like to use it.

I was healed by the simple local cuisine at the lodge of the priest of Chusha. Since the number of overnight guests is limited, we were able to stay in a private room.

I heard that only one group was accepted per day, so I made a reservation and went to experience my first lodging.I heard that there was construction going on inside and outside the building, so I couldn't help but feel cold. However, the room was warmer than before I arrived, and the accommodation was full of consideration in everything from the bathroom, changing room, and washroom to the dining room.I will never forget that the handmade soba noodles were much more delicious than those at other restaurants.I would like to visit again.Rather than luxurious cuisine, I think it's a comfortable lodging with elaborate handmade dishes.
