My hobbies are traveling and gourmet food, and I have stayed at auberges all over the country. An auberge is a high-end restaurant that serves dishes made with plenty of local ingredients and has lodging facilities attached, and this is actually an auberge.I knew at the time of making the reservation that there was no hot spring and that the room would not be comfortable, but I thought the food would be very delicious and it would be worth the 120,000 yen.We had dinner at the affiliated restaurant Uoshiro. The exterior has a dignified appearance, and I was really looking forward to it because I was told that it was a former Motoya building, an important cultural property, and a famous local restaurant, but the food was a bit disappointing. Either it had no taste overall or the seasoning killed the taste of the ingredients, and I wanted to leave halfway through about 3 items.Even though Fukui Prefecture is a rice-producing region, the Yukari rice was not at all delicious, and I ended up leaving most of the food behind. The person at the table next to me seemed to be a local, and the server explained the dishes to me, but there was no particular explanation, so I had no idea what they were eating or what they were particular about. It was a shame. You have repeatedly said that you trained in Kyoto, but I am from Kyoto. I've been to about 300 stores in Kyoto, regardless of genre, but I've never seen a store like this before.Breakfast at Tateru Yoshino Mikuni MinatoThe auberge I stayed at so far had a full course meal that was as good as dinner even in the morning, so it was my fault for thinking that was common sense.·yogurt·salad・Spring cabbage and bacon soup·bread・Ouphoun MeuretteIt was just as delicious as Saint-Marctic.Although it's not worth the price.A local told me, ``This is not the place to stay,'' so I will use that as a reference in the future.I won't come back no matter what, but I'll give it 2 stars because the room attendants were polite and kind from beginning to end.

The hotel, which is a renovated townhouse, is decorated with tasteful furniture and beautiful bonsai trees, and while retaining a somewhat nostalgic feel, it is also equipped with the latest appliances, toilets, and baths, making it a comfortable stay.At the restaurant, both in the evening and in the morning, each dish was filled with the passion and ingenuity of the chef and cooking staff, and the meals were both surprising and moving. What impressed me most was the heartfelt hospitality of the staff. The customer service was friendly, polite and considerate.I'm a resident of Fukui Prefecture, and I'm really proud to have such a wonderful auberge in my hometown.

The sake I received as a welcome drink when I checked in was very delicious. I am also very satisfied with the accommodations. While retaining the wonderful atmosphere of the past, the plumbing and equipment are modern, making it a comfortable stay. Both dinner and breakfast served at the restaurant are very delicious, using carefully selected local ingredients, and the dishes are beautifully prepared.I would love to come again.

My husband and I stayed at Golden Week to commemorate our 25th wedding anniversary. The Hokuriku Shinkansen has been extended and now connects directly from Tokyo to Awara Onsen Station, making it more convenient to access. The townscape that once prospered with Kitamae-bune still remains, and the traditional townhouses known as Kagura-built have been built. I chose this hotel based on the following points: being able to stay in a nice renovated room, and most importantly, being able to enjoy Tateru Yoshino's French cuisine, and I was more satisfied than I expected.I was also impressed by the polite and warm response from all the staff. My wife was very happy and we made the right decision to come to Auberge Homachi Mikuni Minato. I would like to visit again for the anniversary.

It was a wonderful inn that blended into the townscape of Mikuni Minato, which prospered through the Kitamae-bune trade, and immersed you in a somewhat nostalgic feeling. I stayed there last week. The room, which was a renovated townhouse, had the beauty of an old building and the stylishness of it, and was very comfortable and I was able to relax and spend the night there. The French cuisine for dinner and breakfast was also very satisfying, as the taste, appearance, and quality of local ingredients were as expected.I was able to spend some relaxing time walking through the old townscape, interacting with the locals, and taking in the views of the Sea of Japan, including the Kuzuryu River and Mikuni Jetty. It was a town and inn full of hospitality.I would definitely like to visit again.

This is a dispersed hotel consisting of 9 inns renovated from old folk houses + a restaurant. I came here on a mother-daughter trip after a long time. This time's accommodation is "Igeta". Although we were surrounded by traditional things, such as old and splendid beams, vintage paintings on the walls, and Fukui blue Shitsuya stone in the entrance and bathroom, all the facilities were brand new and comfortable. For dinner, I was really looking forward to Tateru Yoshino Mikuni Minato. With gorgeous yet gentle flavors, each plate shows respect for the ingredients of Fukui and Mikuni. Both the guji and Wakasa beef were fluffy and melt-in-your-mouth. My mother, who is in her late 70s, also ate everything, and we were both very satisfied. Thank you for the meal. What I like about it is that the front building is also a relaxing space that feels like an extension of the inn. I was treated with a very human touch both at the restaurant and at the front desk, and I left the hotel with a warm feeling. I'll bother you again.

I stayed here last week.It was my first time going to Mikuni, and it was a very nice place with a good balance of old townscape and modern feel. The hotel is a renovated old private house, and the interior is very clean and well-made.In the evening, we had a French meal, and the salmon and meat from Fukui Prefecture were all very delicious. This is a hotel that will make you feel very satisfied.

I stayed in the Tatewaku House of Auberge Homachi recently. It was the perfect break from running around Kyoto and Tokyo. The house was well appointed and I particularly enjoyed the round bathtub that is located almost outdoors with a view of the beautiful little garden of the house. I also enjoyed two meals at the Auberge Homachi's Tateru Yoshino restaurant. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. The thing I enjoyed most was strolling around the traditional trading district, popping into stores and the little museum. Learning about the Kitamaebune trade route was a real highlight. It was a window into one of the most interesting periods in Japanese history.
