I wanted to eat kamameshi and was looking for it, and this place came up, so I stopped by for lunch. If you haven't decided to go here, it's along the road heading towards Ikaho, but you might end up passing by it. It was a kind of place. When we arrived and looked at the building, it seemed a little difficult to enter. It's attached to an inn, so you can stay overnight there. The name of the restaurant where you can eat is ``Restaurant Honjin''. When I entered the store, it was fairly clean and I ordered the oyster kamameshi, which is only available during the winter. Since it was kamameshi, I knew it would take some time to arrive, so I took it easy. I've heard that it's best not to take the lid off for a while after the oysters are cooked, so I waited a minute or two, and when I opened the lid, I was pleasantly surprised by the fluffy aroma of the pot.The oysters were big and jiggly, and the rice was steamy and ready to be poured into a bowl. I stepped aside and enjoyed it with the lid on. Is it a bit unsatisfactory for men? If so, it seems better to order a set of udon or soba. It was a store that I would want to come back to.
