I was able to spend the best holiday in the refreshing air and silence of the highlands. It is located in an open location on a gentle slope at an altitude of 1000 meters, surrounded by fields of highland vegetables at the foot of Mt. Asama, and offers a magnificent panoramic view of the Northern Alps, Mt. Yatsugatake, and Utsukushigahara.I was surprised to find such a spectacular view just a short distance from Karuizawa.[Indoor] This is a sunny room. You can sit around the dining table or relax in the Japanese-style room, and the water area is clean and bright. No matter where I was, I could see plants and mountains from my window, and it felt like I was in another world. In addition, the wooden deck is large and has a roof, so you can spend your time like it's another room. The sunset over the Northern Alps that I watched while having tea on the deck was breathtakingly beautiful. All the equipment, including linens and kitchen utensils, were clean.Wi-Fi was also usable without any problems.Since we are in nature, there are insects, but we had all the necessary equipment to protect ourselves, and we made sure to wear long sleeves and long pants (even in the summer, it was cool here, but there was an air conditioner).[BBQ]We brought our own tools, but you can rent them for an additional fee. There is a BBQ space in the garden and a roof, so you can enjoy it during the day without worrying about the sun.At night, you can enjoy a relaxing BBQ or bonfire while the starry sky is spectacular and you can see the city lights below.[Access] It takes about 10 minutes by car from Komoro I.C. There are narrow roads and branches that can be overlooked, and it is pitch dark at night, but if you get lost, you can contact the host and they will show you the way, and in some cases they will even come close to you. So I felt safe.It takes about 15 minutes by car to get to the city center of Komoro, and there are supermarkets there, so you can buy food and other things. There is a local farmer's market along the way where you can buy fresh vegetables. It takes less than 30 minutes to get to Karuizawa by car, and there are fruit picking, whiskey distilleries, and wineries within a 5-minute drive, and you can walk to Hishino Onsen for a day trip to the hot springs. There were many places to go even if you stayed overnight. The host is also very nice and makes you feel taken care of.In winter, you can go to the ski resort in about 30 minutes, so I'd like to visit again in a different season.

We had a great time at Hutte Boden! This accommodation is very cute, spacious, comfortable and clean. The surrounding area is very quiet and the forest scenery is very beautiful. The owners are very kind and take great care of each guest. I highly recommend it!

I've visited several times. It doesn't necessarily have the latest facilities, but I don't think people who choose this place are looking for that. The high altitude provides wonderful scenery, tranquility, and clear air that is soothing. We were able to bring our own equipment, so we had a takoyaki party and had fun.

Unauthorized entry and trespassing. Personal information leaked. Worst response. The written information was outdated, and when it came time for the cancellation fee to be applied, I was charged a higher amount than the written amount. When I pointed out that I had made a mistake that day, he got angry and said, "You apologized via email, right?"Also, personal information is not leaked, and a sheet of paper with all of the guests' names, addresses, ages, etc. is left out where anyone can see it.It's dangerous because they can unlock the door and come in without permission. There is a possibility of theft. It will also be monitored.I really don't recommend it. This is dangerous as personal information may also be leaked. I think it's better not to stay there at all.People overseas seem to have good reviews, but people in Japan should definitely avoid it.You will definitely regret going there.Even though they added rules that weren't there when we made the reservation, we still feel like we're the victims. There is a certain level of insanity.I thought this even more when I saw the replies to other people who were trying their best to justify themselves.I wonder what they're talking about when the reservation site recognized it as trespassing and gave me a refund...lolIf you don't care about information leaks, trespassing, or falsifying amounts, this might be a 5 star.
