I went back for the first time in 9 years and used it for the first time since 2015 when I was traveling with my late father. I was surrounded by silence and was able to relax and heal. This time, I worked with a wife who is about to give birth in the spring. Since it was a midday weekday after the holidays, we were the only guests staying at the inn and had the bath to ourselves. I was lucky and really enjoyed my short break. I would like to thank the proprietress and all the employees for treating me so kindly and like family. Next time, when we have a child, the three of us will visit again! Thank you. I would like to request that only one item be replaced: the shower heads in the room and bathroom. Due to deterioration, even if I adjusted the water pressure, the hole in the head where the water came out was limited, and when I took a shower, it felt like I was concentrating on one point and my skin hurt. Please improve it🙇

Wonderful ryokan in the middle of a beautiful mountain world. The hosts are very nice and accommodating, the rooms are in great condition. Highly recommended!

There seem to be mixed reviews, but personally I really liked this inn!The room and bath were retro and cute 🫶As for the room, I came from hot Tokyo, so it was great to be able to sleep while listening to the sounds of insects just by opening the window!The refrigerator is also retro, but it cools things down well so it's not a problem 👌As for the bath, the door to the open-air bath was closed on the first night, so there weren't any insects in the indoor bath, and it was great to lie down in the slightly hot water🫶On the second night, the door to the open-air bath was open, so there were insects in the indoor bath, which was a bit scary, but if you are a guest and make sure to close the door when entering or exiting the open-air bath, then it shouldn't be a problem. I don't think so.It was really nice that not only the shampoo but also the hair oil and skin care items in the sink were commercially available (I'm more grateful for commercially available amenities than the usual hotel amenities)! Also, I was grateful that there was a dryer with strong wind, rather than the usual one with weak wind.The hair dryer provided in the room is a weak, retro type, but you can borrow a regular hair dryer at the reception, and we also rent out chargers, so I don't think there will be any inconvenience during your stay.If you are staying for multiple nights, we were told that there will be no cleaning service, but bath towels and yukatas were left in advance for the number of nights you stayed, so it wasn't a problem.In summary, I think it's a wonderful inn where you can enjoy the countryside 🫶
