We checked in on October 8. It rained heavily that day, and a group of 7 people stepped into the mountain house in a wet state. The mountain house staff had prepared a large blanket to spread on the entrance steps for guests to place their raincoats. We don't speak Japanese, but the staff communicated with us in simple English. Because it is autumn, there is a kotatsu in the room, which costs an additional 300 yen per person, but it is worth it. It is very cold at night, and the kotatsu makes the room much warmer. It is very luxurious to have a bathroom in a mountain house. The shower head in this mountain house is very powerful and hot. There is also shower gel and a large tank of hot spring water. The food for breakfast and dinner is delicious, and hand-brewed coffee is sold in the conversation room. There are also a large number of books and games for guests to borrow. The experience is quite good, and the equipment is much better than other mountain houses.

In August 2024, I did not stay overnight, but stopped by and used it for lunch on the first day and lunch on the second day.Thanks to this, we were able to stay in a tent, but we were able to lighten our luggage and spend our time in Oze comfortably. thank you. We will use it again. 🙇🏻♂️

The rice was very delicious.I can't believe I can spend such a comfortable time in a mountain hut.The insects I was afraid of were no big deal.The toilet and bath are clean.Thank you for running this place and letting me have draft beer.It’s sad that there are so many hand towels out of stock.

It took about 2 hours to cross Sanpei Pass from Chokura Hut to Ichinose.Lake Ozenuma is right in front of you, and you can enjoy watching waterfowl or walking along the promenade even after checking in.The staff at the cafe in the annex are very nice and the atmosphere inside is nice.We have a wide variety of pizza, draft beer, and various drinks.The hut is “The Kiya! The retro shoji room has a quaint feel to it.The futon is what you would call a futon in a hut, so if you are concerned about it, it would be a good idea to bring something like simple sheets.

This is a mountain hut located near Oe Wetland in Ozenuma. Three people stayed in a private room for 13,000 yen per person, including one night and two meals. Cash only.The retro interior of the hotel was lovely, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. There are two electrical outlets in the room. I could use Wi-Fi at Docomo, but not at Softbank.Baths are open from 16:00 to 18:30. The women's bathroom has two washing areas and six basins. The hot water flow in the shower is not very good. There were so many guests staying that day that there was a long line of people waiting for their turn, but just being able to take a bath in the mountains like this was a blessing. I was grateful and entered. No shampoo or conditioner. Only the body soap provided can be used. There is no hair dryer.Dinner starts at 17:00 and breakfast starts at 6:00. Both were very tasty and had plenty of vegetables. I am also grateful to be able to eat a proper meal in the mountains.This mountain hut is so comfortable that it's hard to believe that it's a mountain hut, but what's most wonderful about it is its location. From the observation deck right behind the hut, you can see Mt. Hiushigatake and Oe Wetland across Ozenuma. The sunsets and sunrises were breathtakingly beautiful.This is definitely one of the hotels I would like to visit again.
