Maitake tempura is exceptional! ! !Speaking of soba restaurants in Gunma, Maitaketen is a must.I often see tempura with Maitake mushroom clusters wrapped in batter, but at this restaurant, each branch and leaf of the Maitake mushroom is wrapped in batter, and you can tell that they are fried with great care. The batter is thin and crispy, and you can really taste the flavor of the ingredients.You can feel the owner's strong commitment to maitake tempura.I stopped by around 2:30pm on my way back from climbing Mt. Shirane.Many stores were closed at this time, but I was saved because it was open.I hope that the business will continue to operate for many years to come.

I had tempura with warm udon and my wife had rice. Both were very tasty! The sauce on the rice was also very tasty and went well with tempura.Our companion had cold soba which also had a good texture. Can only recommend the store. Thank you!

Today, I happened to go on a tour 🏍️ for the first time in 10 years! I received the Tenzaru Soba that was just as impressive as when I remembered it. The landlady will be back in 10 years, so please stay healthy!

I ate a snack at the summit on the way back from climbing.I went in because I was feeling hungry.I ordered zaru soba and mini tempura bowl.As for my opinionThe waiting time after ordering is a little long.Where the soba noodles were not chewyIt's a shame thoughAnyway, Tendon is delicious! !I've been to many places around the countryIt was the most delicious thing I've ever had.It's not like the sauce is all over the place.The tempura had a lot of flavor and was really delicious.It's not like you're feeling hungry.If it was flat, I would have ordered more because I didn't have enough.The bill was paid before me.Female customers too"The tempura was delicious," she said.I wanted to go there if it was open at night, so I looked into it.Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be open...

I stopped by while passing by after 1:30pm for a late lunch.This restaurant mainly serves soba and udon.However, when I checked the percentage of soba in the soba, I was told that it was just regular soba.I had a set of monkey udon with tempura.Usually at soba restaurants that don't have any specialties.The udon served here is chewy frozen udon.It was a great decision to make it as udon.Since it is located along the national highway, many customers come in one after another.Customers who had decided on soba noodles due to the atmosphere around the restaurant were disappointed when they heard what we had to say.The store smells musty from the moment you enter.The tempura felt like it was heavy on the stomach.I felt that this content was expensive.If you want to go to Oku-Nikko, go further.I was disappointed because there were several cheap restaurants where you could eat for less than 1,000 yen.There is a Juwari Soba shop in front of this shop,I couldn't enter the store after 13:00 because the soba noodles were sold out, and the store was open right after that. There are plenty of parking spaces.

The best tempura and soba I’ve had in the trip. This place was lovely decorated with heart-warming vibes and service by all staffs (family members). The younger lady speaks English very well. The most wow factor I got here was the food quality, you’ll feel like heaven in your mouth once you take the first bite on the tempura. 🤟🥰

A soba restaurant near Marunuma Kogen Ski Resort. We also have udon noodles. Tempura is delicious. It comes with pickled mustard, so if you don't like it, it's a good idea to let them know in advance that you don't want it.The parking lot can accommodate about 5 to 6 cars.

I visited on my way home from camping.Many of the dishes use plenty of wild vegetables, and the stewed udon I ate this morning was a dish and price that you wouldn't find in Tokyo.I have a lot in mind lolFor 1,500 yen, the menu includes stewed udon, tempura, rice, and a small side dish.Access is not very good for those coming from the city center, but please stop by on your way back from the ski resort or camping.

I stopped by on my way back from Marunuma Kogen Ski Resort.Although it was before the store opened, they kindly guided me around.I ordered the seasonal tempura gozen.This also contains over 10 types of tempura.Very satisfied.The accompanying wild vegetable soba was also delicious.There is a large parking lot and more than 30 seats inside the store.You can sit and smoke outside.Thank you for the meal.

My impression was that the staff at the store were attentive and had great customer service.It was a delicious soba and udon restaurant.I ordered tempura and was surprised by the amount of tempura. A large serving of soba may be just right.

I visited in mid-May with my husband, 3-year-old daughter, and 1-year-old son.My family and I were the only customers because of the bad weather.I had two tempura soba noodles and my daughter had mushroom soba noodles.The tempura also contains the famous maitake mushroom, making it very filling. Isn't there enough soba? I thought so, but I ended up feeling full probably because there was so much tempura.The staff at the store were also very courteous, and I left the store after taking the stage.The Corn Road store is not yet open at this time of year, so I would like to visit during the summer next time.
