Visited with my daughter in early September. I was told that it was built by moving an old folk house, and as I expected, I was impressed by the building's historical feel. The garden is well maintained, giving the impression of a high-class ryokan commensurate with the price. It was the smaller of the two rooms, but it was spacious enough with maisonettes on the first and second floors. Each meal is carefully prepared, but unfortunately the portions are too large for both dinner and breakfast. There is no open-air bath, but the quality of the spring water is light and has a slight sulfur and mole odor, and is a high-quality hydrogen sulfide-based sodium chloride spring. Satisfaction level is high. Unfortunately, there are no special tourist spots nearby, it's not a hot spring town, so it's quiet, the view from the window is not bad, but it's not great, and there are no Western chairs, so it's surprisingly tiring. However, it is the perfect inn for hot spring enthusiasts like me who love old folk houses. I'm glad I came and would like to come again. I'm glad that my daughter liked it too.

I used it on a girls trip. It's old-fashioned and wonderful from the entrance to the inside. It was very nice to have a room inside a storehouse. …

The inn is limited to two groups per day.The room was a renovated storehouse, and the irori hearth was very relaxing. The rice is also delicious. The proprietress and other staff at the inn were very attentive and made me feel at ease.An inn you'll want to visit again in different seasons.Since it is inside a warehouse, the wifi situation may be unstable, butIn such places, you can read quietly,Looking out over the edge of the hearth,I think it might be a good idea to do a digital detox.Credit cards cannot be used, but PayPal can be used.

All the rooms are maisonette type and there is a toilet on the first floor, so it doesn't seem to be suitable for elderly people. The seasoning of the food is salty and it doesn't seem to be suitable for elderly people. There are steps throughout the building, making this an inn suitable for people with strong legs. There wasn't enough solid fuel in the pot for dinner, so the dinner ended before it was fully cooked. In the morning, there wasn't enough stock in the pot and there wasn't enough solid fuel, so the contents couldn't get cooked through. When you're deep in the mountains, you don't need sashimi such as tuna.Wouldn't it be better if the aromatics were salty instead of sweet and sour?

It's a very nice inn, and I'd like to visit again in a different season!Although I thought that there might not be many ingredients in abundance in the inland area, they prepared a number of very delicious dishes using locally available ingredients. The private bath was a large cypress bath where you could relax and enjoy the hot springs. I usually apply cream all over my body, but after bathing, I feel so moist even without cream :)Also, the room had a lot of tasteful furniture on display, and it was fun just looking at it. When I hit my head on the electric light, I was impressed by how well it was cleaned, with no dust falling off.All the staff were polite and kept a proper distance from each other, and since we are not good at friendly and over-the-top hospitality, we were able to spend a very relaxing and comfortable time ♫Thank you for the wonderful memories!
