old. Musty. There are no repeats. There was a cottage where three people committed suicide about 10 years ago, and it still hasn't been torn down. As you might expect, I didn't do much. It should be demolished, but they probably don't have the money to do so. The map was just filled with green. I think it's number 9.

Last time we stayed in a building for 8 people, but this time we stayed in a cottage for 4 people. The reception desk is the same as "Yakehashiri no Yu". At first glance, you might think that you have to take off your shoes, but you can just walk up to the reception window (Cottage & Camp Reception) by just pushing your feet up through the dining room table. There is a narrow path from this reception to the destination cottage. Pass through the campsite and enter the cottage area. It's a maze. Be careful and look at the signs. The four-person cottage is modest. The walls are not made of cloth, so it looks like a mountain hut. The lighting is also dark. However, there is a small refrigerator, electric kettle, microwave, 2-burner gas stove, and TV (terrestrial only). There is a hot water system so you can use hot water in the kitchen. I'll also take a bath. Shampoo, soap, and towels are not provided. There was a yukata, but I didn't notice it until morning.Knives, cutting boards, large frying pans, pots with aluminum handles, teacups, and rice bowls are included. We were having a barbecue outside.I think staying overnight is easier than camping. This time, unusually, there were no stink bugs.

We were traveling with pets, and there are still very few hotels in Tohoku that accept large dogs, so we decided to stay at this cabin due to our schedule. There seem to be some new cabins, but the pet wing is old and gives the impression that it has been driven deep into the forest. As soon as I opened the entrance door, there was a musty smell. When I entered the room, it smelled like ammonia. There was no air conditioner or air purifier.Other than a cage placed in the room, there is no consideration for pets. The only saving grace was that the insects that were said to be abundant did not appear.Mt. Iwate is nearby, and the location is perfect, so if you come camping, it might be the best! is.

I used Autosite number 11.The site was deep enough to have plenty of room even when towing a 6m long camping trailer. The roads that connect each site are wide, and you can pass each other instead of just walking in one direction. Parking is also easy.I was able to book a site that would be wider on the left side when I parked in reverse (because the trailer has a left door), which was helpful. The sites are very large and each site has its own water supply and stove (separated into 3 sections), which is very convenient. At night, there wasn't much lighting, so it wasn't too bright, which was great. The Yakehashiri trailhead is also next door, so it's convenient for sightseeing. You can also take a bath within walking distance. We were also able to pick chestnuts.

Is it a family-friendly campsite?Isn't it okay if we do it happily?Might be a little noisy for solo. You can see Mt. Iwate and the scenery is nice.
