This is a hot spring resort that I was curious about every time I crossed Mikuni Pass or visited Sarugakyo. It's easily accessible by train, so this time I went by train and bus. There are several hot spring inns in the village, a public bath run by volunteers from the village, and a soba restaurant, so it's a place where you can simply enjoy the hot springs. The public bathhouse is not open to the public, perhaps due to the coronavirus, but guests will be given a key. Both villagers and guests can put 100 yen into the box each time they use the service.Probably because I visited shortly after checking in, before the evening rush, I probably had the best bath. Super hot. As it is a hot spring inn, the hot spring water has a high source temperature and is very fresh. Drinkable hot springs.Kanedaya is the inn where Bokusui Wakayama stayed, and the rooms have been preserved and are now open to the public. There are two indoor baths, which are changed depending on the time. As it is a hot spring inn, the temperature is carefully controlled and you will feel comfortable no matter when you enter.A microwave and toaster are located in the hallway on the first floor and can be used freely. In recent years, as I've gotten older, I've become unable to eat all the dinner I eat at a ryokan, so I've started to settle for snacks and drinks, so this is a blessing.Breakfast was really delicious. The luxury of being able to enjoy hot springs without having to do anything, let's come again!

I am grateful for the bright and cheerful hostess's hospitality. It was a comfortable inn where you could feel the care in every part. There are no tourist spots within Yuyado Onsen, so it is recommended for those who simply want to enjoy the hot springs. I'll be back again.

When I returned to Tokyo from Fukushima, I took the opportunity to visit Minami Aizu and Oze and stayed at your hotel as a stopover. I chose this place to stay because all of the reviews in the media were extremely high, and it was a wonderful inn that lived up to the reviews. This historic and valuable building is a facility with attractions that deserves to be described as ``classic,'' which has even more added value than the old ``retro.'' You can freely tour the room where Bokusui Wakayama stayed at any time, and it has a particularly atmospheric feel. Furthermore, the intangible service is also excellent, with the young proprietress providing attentive service all by herself. I can't help but feel that this wonderful inn is supported by a truly ``superwoman proprietress'' who can handle multiple roles. As per the word-of-mouth reviews from many of our previous guests, our breakfast is an extremely original and healthy meal that can only be enjoyed here. I think it's even worth visiting this inn for this purpose. The hot springs are open 24 hours a day and are always kept in a comfortable condition. We will also use your hotel when visiting the Joetsu area, so we hope that you will continue to use our current service.

I stayed here for one night when I came to Minakami to ski.The interior and rooms are well-maintained and clean, and it has a different atmosphere than a guesthouse.I took a bath at night and in the morning, and it felt really good. The only drawback is that the stairs to get to the guest rooms on the second floor are steep. However, there is another staircase towards the bathroom, which seems to be a little more gradual. The host was kind and let me leave my skis in an empty room.I stayed without meals, but coffee is provided in the morning.I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

A famous inn with hot springs. Since it is an old building, there are some difficulties in making it via-free, but the cheerful personality of the proprietress makes up for it.Daytime bathing is also available for 660 yen. Yuyado Onsen is a hot spring, so most facilities add water to adjust the temperature, but we avoid that as much as possible, and adjust only by the amount of water supplied according to the outside temperature. Therefore, you can enjoy the wonderful natural hot spring water. You can of course access this place by car, but there is a bus stop right in front of the inn, so you can visit even without a car. (Buses run at least once per hour from Jomokogen Station)
