Reststone is a guesthouse located in Kawaba Village, surrounded by tranquil fields and surrounded by nature. The word warm is appropriate for everything. It's a relatively new hot spring that only sprung up in the Heisei era, and the building itself was designed and constructed by her husband, who was a carpenter, to take advantage of the warmth of the cedar wood.As it's a guesthouse, it's simple but clean and comfortable. Well, first of all, as soon as we arrived at the inn, we went to the hot springs. The bathroom is simple, with a bathtub that can accommodate up to 5 people and 3 baths, but the hot water is from a mineral spring, so it is heated and circulated. When you enter, the hot water overflows and overflows, so the freshness is not bad, and it is a sodium chloride hot spring (weakly alkaline, hypotonic cold mineral spring), so it has a nice consistency. It's odorless, transparent, and has no odor, but it's warm and warm with no chlorine smell. It was a hot summer day, so it felt good to get out of the hot water and take a cold shower. I soaked in the hot water and took a cold shower repeatedly.Dinner will be served at 6:30pm with everyone in the dining room. On this day, we had potato salad, shellfish, marinated vegetables, meat and potatoes, steamed egg custard, pickled vegetables, and blueberry jelly. The main dish is the landlady's proud motsu nabe and rice, which are placed in the middle of the desk. Each dish feels like an extension of home cooking, so it's not fancy, but it's simple and relaxing, and goes well with rice. The marinade is refreshing and easy to eat even in the hot and humid summer, and the tempura is a perfect accompaniment to sake. And then there's the giblet stew you're looking for, spinach and enoki mushrooms with plenty of giblets. The offal was plump and had a light miso flavor base, so it wasn't boring and I ended up having to refill the rice over and over again. It's nice to have a sophisticated meal at a high-class inn, but it's also not bad to relax with simple cuisine when you come to the countryside of Kawaba. Speaking of greed, there are talented sake breweries such as Tsuchida and Mizubasho nearby, so if they have local sake like that, there's nothing to complain about.I went to bed early at night with a full stomach, but in the morning I woke up early to the sounds of birds chirping and insects chirping outside the window. It's refreshing to be in a place full of nature, warm up again in the morning bath, and the breakfast is simple and healthy with grilled salmon, turnips, and vermicelli noodles that are easy on the stomach. It's a very typical guesthouse, but I think it's a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, surrounded by nature, and just soaking in the hot springs and relaxing. I would definitely like to visit again.

I used it on a 3-night, 4-day tour of Sado Island! The food presentation is amazing! There is a rice cooker in front of each seat, as if to say, "Eat a lot!" to whet your appetite! And the white rice is delicious!Dinner is tempura and motsu nabe! Sashimi is surf clam and sashimi konjac! We ate seafood during our two nights on Sado Island, tonkatsu on the way, and finished off with tempura and offal hot pot.I had a very well-balanced meal trip! The wild vegetable tempura was freshly fried and had a nice crunchy sound, and the offal hot pot had a delicious miso flavor, and the offal was very delicious without any stickiness! The bath is large enough to fit about three people, and it's best to get there early as it closes at 9pm.The room was more than eight tatami mats in size, clean and beautiful. One thing that bothered me was that there was a lot of car traffic, and with the windows open, I could hear a lot of noise. The sound of running echoes inside the room.Small insects that cannot be prevented by screen doors also come in.You can lay out your own futon! The staff at the inn (family members?) were also friendly and cheerful! There is a DyDo vending machine outside. For me, this was the best accommodation for three nights! If I have the opportunity again, I would like to use it actively!thank you very much! m(__)m

There are many hot springs in Kawaba Village, and Miyayama Onsen is one of them. This time I didn't go to the hot springs, but instead went to the front of the inn. It looks like a quaint hot spring inn.

I was able to relax. The hot springs feel good too. The boiled motsu was also delicious as rumored.
