The building is older than I expected and not well maintained. There is a musty smell throughout the building. I understand that insects come in due to the location, but there are snake shells left in the guest rooms, plants coming in from outside the windows, and spider webs everywhere. .The food is delicious, but it's a battle against flies. The soy sauce jug was like a noodle soup trap, and when I poured it on the eggs I had for breakfast, it was full of dead flies. Also, there may be bed bugs, although I'm not sure. I had numerous insect bites on exposed areas such as my thighs, ankles, and upper arms, which were extremely itchy. This is a recommended accommodation for those who don't care about the above things.

The store is run by a 90-year-old grandfather. Anyway, the owner, the old man, was very personable and nice.

A guesthouse in the Shirabu Onsen area.Used to go to Tengendai Kogen Ski Resort. For dinner, you can enjoy a large amount of Yonezawa beef yakiniku. In addition to yakiniku, there are also a variety of small dishes such as kimchi and pickles. The room feels like you're visiting your grandpa's house in the countryside. Showa retro atmosphere. For bathing, you can go to a hot spring at a nearby inn.An amazing guesthouse run by a grandfather who is about 90 years old.*Discount tickets for Tengendai Kogen Ski Resort are available near the entrance of the inn.Visited on 2024/1/20-21

I was able to visit at a time when the autumn leaves were so beautiful. It's a guesthouse, so the facilities are pretty decent (lol), but the owner is a cute 90-year-old grandpa, the bathroom is in a nearby Nakaya annex, and the liquor store next door has a great selection of wine and sake that you can bring your own. The grilled meat was delicious, but the miso soup and rice were also GOOD (soft as I heard 🍚) Tell me quickly, Yoshida-kun❗If you knew, I'd come here twice a year🎵I hope you're always doing well, Mr. Owner!

The information on HP is slightly outdated, and as of February 2023, the following amounts are correct.・One night and two meals (adult): ¥7,500・Bathing fee (using Fudokaku): ¥500Also, for dinner, I was very satisfied with the amount of food that I could eat, including Yonezawa beef yakiniku. However, the breakfast was quite simple, just rice, miso soup, natto, raw egg, and seasoned seaweed. For those who don't like natto, the side dishes may be a bit lacking.

I used it when touring in Tohoku. This guesthouse is a building that was built over 100 years ago and was renovated by the owner himself, making it quite an interesting place to stay, with furniture such as lights and stained glass made by the owner himself. The biggest advantage here is the food, and you can eat a lot of Yonezawa beef yakiniku. Although we don't have attentive service, it is a fun guesthouse where you can hear the stories of the various challenges that the host has faced (lol).

This is a guest house located in Shirabu Onsen Village, which is the most popular inn in 2018.It is located just down from the entrance of Nishi-Azuma Sky Valley (Yamagata side). If you choose to include a meal, you can enjoy Yonezawa beef yakiniku or sukiyaki for dinner (additional charge applies). The portions are quite large, so you may not be able to finish all the small bowls. It seems like it's okay to bring in drinks. I've never ordered anything other than soft drinks or beer, so I don't know, but I always bring canned chu-hi with me.Since it's a guesthouse, it feels like a country house, and of course there are insects, so I can't say it's clean.Room amenities include yukata, towels, and a TV. Please note that there is no refrigerator. For bathing, use the inn located a little further down the row of inns. There are no convenience stores nearby. There is a vending machine in front of the hotel, but there are not many types, so it would be better to buy them in advance.
