My family of 5 stayed here for one night during the Obon holiday. Check-in was at 3pm, but we were able to enter our room at 12pm. Perhaps because it was a last-minute reservation, we didn't have an ocean view, but the room was 10 tatami mats in size, clean and spacious, and had a TV, as well as towels and toothbrushing sets for the number of people, and tea on the table. I had a lot of coins on hand because I needed to pay for the air conditioner, but I only paid 500 yen at the beginning and it was fine. Outside the entrance to the inn, there are hot showers, separate changing rooms for men and women, running water for washing your feet, two washing machines, and a clothes line. You can go straight from your room to the ocean in front of your eyes in a few minutes in your swimsuit, and then come back up, which you wouldn't do at a normal hotel. It was convenient. I was worried that dinner was served in the hall on the first floor starting at 5pm, but the food was plentiful and delicious. My husband and I don't drink alcohol, so we ordered a boat platter for an additional fee. The boatload of sashimi was especially delicious. The bathrooms were small and separated by gender. There was no problem in the women's bath, but you said that the shower in the men's bath was only cold. Breakfast was Japanese food in the hall. Even after checking out, my husband and children wanted to dive in the sea, so I had them wait in the corner of the hall, but there was no extra charge for the extension. We highly recommend this inn for those who want to enjoy a leisurely swim in the sea with their families and those who want to leave behind some fun memories. My husband also said that the landlady and female employees were kind and had a good sense of distance from the guests. If I have a chance to come here, I would like to use it again.

Anyway, it's reasonable! As mentioned in other reviews, it takes 30 seconds to reach the sea. It's the perfect location for sea bathing. The building is old, but clean and has all the necessary facilities. There are hot showers outside, changing rooms and a free washing machine. When we arrived, the air conditioner arrived early, so we charged 500 yen for the few hours before check-in. The rest was free. The food was on point. The fried food was cold, the sashimi was mainly squid, but the portions were large, and the dining room was air-conditioned. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity. It was quite cost effective.Additional note: The wash basin on the second floor was tiled and had a retro feel.

I visited with my family of 6. I visited from Kanagawa for Obon. I used this place after going to Yamagata for 2 nights and 3 days. About 10,000 yen per adult. The road was crowded, so I arrived just after 7pm. When I called to tell them the check-in time around 17:00, I was told that the meal would start at 17:00 and that it had already started. It would have been nice to include a message if the meal was about to start. This is what I learned from listening to the time. The location seems to be good for those who use the sea. When we checked in, we did not write down the name list. The room is normal. There are no bath towels or toothbrushes. Even though I told them to check in at 7:00 pm, there was no air conditioner in the room, so I thought they weren't very considerate.I thought it was going to be a fun family trip, but what followed was the worst. The food was rushed to us, and when we were told that the food was ready, we were led to the dining room, thinking it was our fault. The dining room was really steamy and there was no ventilation fan.I tried to be considerate of my family by turning on the ventilation fan, but when I tried to ask for a drink or get salt for tempura, no one was there. I went to see it about 6 times. Although there was seafood such as raw sashimi, there was no cooler. I wonder if inns require guests to use ventilation fans.Grandma carefully searched the building and asked an employee to turn on the air conditioner. Also, I was asked if the food was ready yet and entered the room without even asking if I would be excused. When I mentioned something wrong with the staff, they said something like it was our fault for being slow before they apologized, which irritated me.The food was cold, but the fish was hard to eat. Too much squid somen. There were some pot-roasted turban shells that had no sand removed at all.Air conditioners cost time and money, and it's hard to sleep in the intense heat. It's 100 yen for 1 hour.Since I also have a 4-year-old child, I left the cooler on.There was no proper explanation, communication, or reporting. What is hospitality? I thought so. At the very least, I would like them to improve their customer service. The son of this shop is in charge of customer service.Apparently he came from Kanagawa for the Obon holiday, but it was really the worst.I don't usually get irritated, but this was really annoying.I will never use them again, but I hope they do better.

Certainly the price is low. However, I felt that it was something to be expected. For example, if you are charged money for detergent, bath towels, etc.I still understand. But the air conditioner remote control is a rip-off price.Tickets are sold at specified times, and you can even enter the room without permission. The bath is a shared family bath, and although the title says until what time, you can basically use it at any time.It might be good for a night without meals, butI wish I always had an air conditioner remote control with me because it was a little more expensive, and I wish there weren't any rules that don't matter.I will never use it again.

I thought the accommodation cost was about 5,000 yen per person for one night and two meals, which I thought was cheap. The room was about 6 tatami mats and smelled of cigarettes, but I couldn't hear much noise from the neighbors, the food was delicious and tasted like home-cooked food, and the bath was close to the room and had a good temperature, so I was comfortable. You can also rent a washing machine, dryer (only the dryer costs a fee), and a dryer. The toilet seat was also warm. There is an Ito-Yokado in front of the inn, which is convenient, but it looks like it will be closing soon. Joetsu City Aquatic Museum Umigatari is also nearby.
