I stayed there in the summer, before the coronavirus. The elaborate Buddhist cuisine, medicinal herbal baths, calm rooms, nice baths, and solemn morning rituals allowed me to feel refreshed by immersing myself in a variety of unusual spaces.

Everyone here, the building, the rooms, and the food were wonderful, and it was a wonderful lodging experience. ♫The Ajikan and Danjo Garan night tours were also kind and thorough, and the solemn gongyo experience was a uniquely moving experience. (Let's prepare a donation when we gongyo ^^;)My mind feels refreshed and I'm sure I'll visit again.

I had previously been to Mt. Koya on a day trip bus tour, but this time I stayed at this lodging for one night.I had the impression that staying at a temple would have simple food and rooms, but it was completely different. It's like a long-established inn, with a bath, toilet, and TV.It was like that.I'm old and have bad legs, but I'm very happy with the meal and the main hall. There was also a chair-style experience for work experience, and there was also an electric lift up and down the stairs to the cypress public bath, which was very helpful.Close to the center, right in front of Danjo Garan (the deputy chief priest showed us around Danjo Garan at night). The Reihokan is next door, a convenience store is next door, and it faces the main street, so there are few more convenient conditions than this. From old people like me to families with children. It was a recommended lodging where you can spend a stress-free stay.I would like to use it again.Thank you very much.

Excellent location! The staff are kind! I want to repeat it again!I've been following the deputy chief priest's Instagram for some time, and I'd like to stay there someday, so I visited him this time during a long weekend from work ^^First of all, opposite the temple is Kongobuji Danjo Garan, next door is Reihokan, and Koyasan's only Family Mart is just a short walk away, so the location is great! The food was very delicious and the quantity was very satisfying. The garden seen from the room was well maintained and had a very relaxing and relaxing atmosphere. The night tour (advance reservation required) with the deputy chief priest is highly recommended as it allows you to get to know Mt. Koya in a different way than during the day.It was my first time visiting Mt. Koya, but it was a very satisfying trip.Thank you to all the staff at Henshoson-in Temple ^^Next time I would like to try copying sutras♪

It was my first time visiting a guesthouse. The rooms are as clean as an inn, and there is a large bath made of ancient cypress, so you can spend a very relaxing time.Shojin ryori is so filling that you won't believe it doesn't contain animal foods.Since it was served at the table, it was available to people of all ages. The young monk who met me was also very friendly and taught me a lot about Mt. Koya. The location was good as it was facing the main street.

It was my first time staying at a shukubo. The deciding factor for our stay was the location, which is a 1-minute walk from Reihokan and Danjo Garan and a 2-minute walk from a convenience store.A monk in training kindly welcomed us.The cypress bath in the large public bath is very comfortable. The room was also spacious and clean. The vegetarian cuisine was also delicious. The time passed peacefully and I felt very comfortable. I would like to use it again when I come to Koyasan.thank you very much.
