The host's personality, hot springs flowing directly from the source, and cooking performance were all wonderful. The spring wild vegetables were amazing, so I booked the autumn matsutake mushroom plan a little earlier in September, and it was great. The matching with the local sake was great, and I ended up drinking too much, but everything was great. thank you very much.

After visiting Maeyama-ji, Daiho-ji, and Anraku-ji, I stayed at this hot spring inn with a "Full Matsutake Mushroom Course" plan and free-flowing hot spring water.Basically “Never follow and leave”This is not recommended for those who expect hotel-like service.

Stayed in mid-May with the wild plants plan. This is a guesthouse run by a young couple. The food was so delicious! Some people may not be able to finish it all because it is a large amount. I finished the meal even though I felt sick to my stomach. There are two baths in the main building, and if they are empty, you can lock them and use them privately. The smaller one is hot. Since the window can be opened, it becomes like a semi-open-air bath. It felt good to breathe the forest air. (The hair dryer is in the closet in the room◎)In the morning, I woke up to the sound of birds chirping. The room on the second floor had two toilets and a sink, so it was convenient. It was great to just relax on the balcony while looking at the greenery.I walked there from the station, and the slope of the mountain was a little steep. On the way back, we were dropped off at Bessho Onsen Station by car.It seems like it's hard to get a reservation, but the matsutake plan seems to be amazing, so I'd like to stay there again someday.

A small guest house and inn with two main buildings and one separate building located on a hill on the outskirts of the hot spring town of Bessho Onsen, the oldest in Shinshu and also known as Shinshu's Kamakura.I stayed at Hanare, which had a roofed open-air bath with natural hot spring water flowing 24 hours a day, and the price was around 10,000 yen including dinner and breakfast. The building doesn't have any charm, but it's still new, clean, and cheap. There are also two private hot springs in the main building, and I was told that I could use them if they were open, so I bathed in both during the free time. As for the size of the bathtubs, the one on the left is the largest when facing the bathroom door in the main building, followed by the one on the right. The heat of the hot water is also the same, and it seems that the left side is the one with the most amount of water being poured. However, since the temperature of the source is high, I personally like it because it stays at about the same temperature for the longest time.Dinner started all at once at 6:00 PM, and we enjoyed a delicious meal consisting mainly of wild vegetable dishes at the dining hall, which seems to be used as a residence as well. It was an inn that I would want to stay at again if I ever stay at Bessho Onsen again.

I don't want to give it a 5 star because I don't want it to be crowded, but it's an inn that I want to come back to again.

Bessho Onsen and Haruyama. There are three bathtubs, one of which is a separate private bath. I was staying in an annex so I had to use everything, but when I thought of the annex hot spring, I could turn it on in 5 seconds and it was great. Perfect hot springs that are all sourced from the source and do not require heating or disinfection. Even though it was a guesthouse, the food was amazing and the cost performance was good. The rice was delicious! The customer service of the young couple was also wonderful.

I like the cozy and cozy feel of this place. Matsutake mushrooms in autumn and wild vegetables in spring are especially delicious. Other than that, the food is delicious no matter what you eat. You can't go wrong with the hot springs.
