There are two steep slopes in the venue, so be careful if you have a light car or other vehicle with low horsepower. Will it stop on the way? I was so scared. The steepest slopes are the slope from Matsunoki Hiroba to Suginomori, and the slope from Takimidaira to Shirakaba Hiroba. The trick is to put your gear in second and build up momentum from the bottom of the hill.Once I stopped halfway up the hill, it was difficult to go back up. If you are unsure, you can pitch your tent in one of the several squares. But the campground gets the highest rating. You can really feel that you are camping in nature, and the toilets are very clean as they are cleaned every morning. I appreciate that the toilet seat is warm with a washlet. This is a recommended campsite.

Very good response and environmentThis is a campsite where you can have a great time.but…The problem is “trout pond”! !In vain, serious anglers go crazy.casting the lure``Omatsuri'' with people fishing with long rods (devices and lines get tangled), etc.If the lure gets tangled in a tree branch, it will slam into the pond and collect the caught lure and wreak havoc on the area...I wish the trout ponds were for extended fishing rods only and lures were strictly prohibited.Families seem to be moving away...

I visited for two nights during the Obon holidays. You can check in from 9am, and if there is a vacant site, you can check in immediately. The manager's older brother is constantly looking around the venue, keeping track of information such as which sites are open and when to leave. On the day of your stay, the previous guest is staying multiple nights, so you can't choose. She will tell you about the sites and then let you choose the site that is available on the day in the order in which you received the application. She is really running around and working hard♪The inside of the venue is like a Ghibli forest, with the site being created while making full use of nature. All of the sites are private, so you can choose from a variety of sites depending on the number of people and your preferences. Many of the sites are out of sight of other tent sites, so you can relax. It's helpful to be able to throw away only food scraps, and although the exterior of the toilet is old-fashioned, the inside is clean and has a washlet. There is also a rock bath (reservation required), which is a great way to refresh yourself from the sweat you shed during setup.During the three days I visited, there wasn't much wind blowing through the venue and it was a bit hot at times, but even during the Obon season, I had to wear light long sleeves in the mornings and evenings.Maybe it was just a coincidence or maybe it was because there were so many trees, but there wasn't much wind. It was a campsite with no wind. There are many narrow, shallow streams running through the grounds, so even small children can safely play in the water, and the streams running evenly throughout the grounds keep them cool.It was a wonderful campsite that I would definitely like to visit again ♪

There are many sites that feel private, with few other tents in sight and no voices heard. The venue is large and complex, so first-time visitors may get lost even if they look at the map. I was lost. The toilet has been renovated and has a washlet. You can also enjoy swinging and trout fishing, so it is also recommended for families. It is also highly rated that you can use a private rock bath at a low price. Reservations for specific sites are not possible, and popular sites fill up quickly.

Used for one night on a weekday in May. Check-in seems to be OK from 9am if there is space. Pay at the reception desk and proceed to the site. The road is narrow in many places, so please drive carefully. This time I decided on a plaza called [Sugenosawa]. The toilet and sink are close together. The site is basically divided into sections, with some places next to the car and others slightly terraced. This time I'm on a scooter so I went to a site with steps. Motorcycles can enter from the hill, but cars cannot. The boss I went with went to a place where he could park his car. The ground is covered with gravel, but it's basically dirt so it's soft. It was quite windy that day, so even 30cm pegs were not effective. It may depend on the location, but it seems better to have a 30cm peg. The ground at the site in the back is loose, so if it rained, my tires would sink under it. The sunlight was quite good. The sink has two faucets. The restroom is for men. Unisex. Three for women. It has been kept quite clean. It also smells like wood. It has a door so you don't have to worry about insects getting in, so it's safe. At night, there is an LED streetlight in the corner of the roof of the sink and a pole on the opposite side, but there are no other lights, so it's pitch black in the back. I could hear deer crying all the time after 10pm. Also, it's fascinating to see fallen trees that could be used as firewood. There were also lots of cedar leaves for kindling. Of course, you can take your trash home with you, but there is no ash dumping area, so you will have to take the ashes home with you as well.
