The road down to the camp is deep and steep.

The campground is beautiful, with peaceful surroundings and a scenic river nearby. You can purchase firewood and charcoal on-site, though they’re priced higher than usual. Keep in mind, getting there can be challenging without a car. They don’t take reservations, so it's best to arrive early to secure a good camping spot.

I've been here several times and the river is always beautiful! You can even jump from a small bridge. This time we had small children with us, so we chose a place where they could play in the river safely. There were a lot of people because I came in the middle of Obon, but there was a section so it didn't bother me too much.I'm glad there weren't any noisy DQNs.However, it gets very crowded during the Obon season, so I arrived around 8 o'clock and was able to check in smoothly, but from around 8:30 onwards, more and more cars started arriving and it became crowded. If you come late, you won't be able to choose your spot, so it's better to come early. The nature, the beautiful river, it's really nice, but the steep slope when you come there is a little scary lol

The employees here have a really bad attitude, so please be careful! If you enter here, you'll get in trouble because it's private property, so don't enter without permission, and you're trespassing.I was driving in, looking at the signboard for the service, and considering whether or not to use it, when someone suddenly approached me and told me not to enter private property without permission. I made a complaint.I stopped by during normal business hours on a normal business day, and even though I couldn't even talk to them because they weren't at the reception desk, they suddenly started acting up and the level of service was outrageous.I love the Doshi River, so it's really a shame that there is a campsite like this.

I used it towards the end of Obon.◯Good pointsThere are great views from the riverside site, and camping while listening to the sound of the clear Doshi River flowing is great. It's good because it seems like you can just play in the river. You can fish as much as you like by purchasing a fishing license for 1,200 yen a day, but you will need to collect earthworms from the mountainside as bait. The site is about 5 x 5 meters, which is a bit small for modern camping gear, but you can park your car in front of the reception desk, so if it's small, you can use that space. I changed to 2 sites on the same day, but the extra charge was 2,500 yen for 2 nights and 3 days, which was a very exceptional price.◯NotesThere is water, a toilet, and a washing area, but the equipment is a little old (personally, just having one is enough)Additionally, tap water cannot be used as drinking water, so we recommend using the water pumping station along the national highway leading down to the campsite. The rice made with water here is the best. It is better to get some water before coming down to the reception desk. There are some places along the prefectural road that are quite steep and difficult to leave the campsite. Take care when descending. If you are concerned about the sound of the river being a little loud, perhaps because it was after a typhoon, it might be a good idea to wear earplugs.◯OverallIt is a campsite that has more facilities, scenery, atmosphere, and more than the price. You can enjoy playing in the river and fishing, and at night you can see a starry sky.I've been to several campsites in Doshi Village, but I think this is the one with the best balance.I'll bother you again.
