The day I stayed there was Setsubun, and after dinner the staff (?) performed a little demon play that was very interesting and made me happy.If you are staying in the winter, you may be asked to sleep on the first floor, so if you are unable to withstand the chill that slowly rises from the floor, you should prepare the necessary equipment beforehand. Maybe. I managed to warm up my cold body with the emergency sheet I had, but I wish I had brought an insulated camping mat.I lost the charging cable for my spare battery on the way up from Mt. Tanzawa, and luckily I was able to borrow a cable from the hut to charge it, but I don't even want to imagine descending the mountain without my phone if I didn't have it. Even thinking back on it gives me chills.Thank you very much for your help. thank you very much.

I used it on a weekday in late January 2024. It is located at the summit of Mt. Hirugatake. From the mountain hut, you can see the city center, Yokohama, Sagami Bay, Mt. Fuji, and the mountains of Chichibu. The views in the early morning and evening are amazing. The meals were simple since it was a mountain hut, but you could get any refills except for the curry. Since there is no water available, the toilet and hand washing environment is limited. Reference: 4℃ in the bedroom before going to bed, -1℃ at dawn.

12/23 Stayed alone. The staff were very kind and it was a wonderful mountain hut where you could enjoy and relax even by yourself. There were a lot of comments about how cold the sleeping room was, but there were three futons, and I was able to sleep warmly with down pants and a hot pillow.This mountain hut is located on the top of a mountain, so you can enjoy a panoramic view. The night view to the east after sunset was breathtakingly beautiful.

Just like Mt. Tonodake, the highest peak in the Tanzawa Mountains, you can enjoy curry at night, but only get a second helping of rice. When I looked at the website, it said that coronavirus measures were required, but when I checked with the administrator, I was told that it was the customer's decision. It is not possible to charge a smartphone. Meal times are 5:30pm and 5:30pm. The living room has a high ceiling, so it's cold even with the kerosene stove running.

I stayed here in late November 2023.The mountain hut is located at the top of Mt. Hirugatake, and the view is spectacular 360 degrees. We were blessed with good weather, and we were able to see the night view of the city outside, the moon, a sea of clouds, the sunrise, and Mt. Fuji. It was something unique to staying at a mountain lodge.The atmosphere of the mountain villa was warm and homely, with the manager's personality showing through.Although it is an older building, it was well maintained and the restrooms were clean and easy to use.For the meal, I had the famous Hiru curry. It was delicious. For breakfast, we had rice with side dishes such as pickles. It was simple but good. I added a little grated konbu to the miso soup, and it was delicious.The bedroom was a large room with futons spread out and each person separated by a partition, so I was able to maintain some privacy. It seems that women were mainly guided to the bunk bed space.It was 8000 yen for one night and two meals.

Hirugatake.8,000 yen for one night with dinner and breakfast, +500 yen with bento.There is a self-catering room with a stove.The shop sells alcohol, cup noodles, water, coffee, etc. You can eat and drink in the hall.There are sleeping areas in the large hall and on the second floor (which is narrower). There are no private rooms.Radio waves only come through occasionally.The manager is very kind.

I went there for the first time on a trail run.I went to buy Tanzawa Yujin T-shirts. (The response from the mountain villagers was excellent.)Hiru curry was perfect for my tired body.

I stayed there (1 night and 2 meals included). (2022.12)In winter, it's extremely cold even indoors. There is a stove, but it's so cold that it's hardly functional, and the area around it is occupied by guests who arrived early. It is better to bring warm slippers and warm pants.Dinner was curry rice. There aren't many ingredients, but it's creamy and spicy. Unfortunately, the rice is not tasty. But I think it's a good mountain hut.Breakfast is rice, soup, and a few side dishes such as seaweed and pickles. After all, rice is not delicious.I'm grateful that the toilet is in the building, but the smell is terrible because the dining area and the toilet (bio) are too close.Personally, I think it's okay to be outside.You can see the sunrise and sunset very beautifully.

I thought the administrator was scary at first, but he sometimes mixes in gags so I don't dislike him lol. Some people may not like it, but I think that's what mountain huts are all about.Unfortunately, it was a bad day, but the curry soaked into my tired body. You can't get refills for the roux, but you can get refills for the rice. Apparently the rice cooker is new.There are a lot of T-shirts on sale, and I think they're a great souvenir.There is a drying room and a common room, but it is a little small. There were many books about mountains, and we had a great time drinking alcohol.

The environment is nice, but the qualifications of the manager are questionable.Upon arrival, I received an explanation and when I asked, ``What time is dinner?'', he suddenly became angry and yelled, ``I explained it to you earlier!'' which made no sense.In reality, they were simply shown a whiteboard with the time written on it.However, I ended up asking him, ``What time do you leave in the morning?'' and what I had written in the accommodation book.I also mentioned that I ordered a bento box, but they won't do anything unless I tell them everything.Is it because of Showa culture that people get angry as soon as they arrive?I just feel bad about this.

Visited on February 23, 2023.I came here for a break after traversing Mt. Tonotake, Mt. Tanzawa, and Mt. Hirugatake.Drink coffee to fuel up for the descent.Lake Miyagase could be seen from the mountain hut.
