This is my favorite inn that I have stayed at several times.Last time, perhaps because of the coronavirus pandemic, or perhaps out of consideration for families with children, the meal was prepared in the guest room next door, so we were able to enjoy the meal in a relaxed manner. This was my first stay since my second child was born. I thought I was ready with lots of new toys and sweets, but I ended up making so much noise that I couldn't stand it.I'm sorry. The staff were very kind. I will come back when my children are a little older as it will be a nuisance to others.

This is my first time at Bessho Onsen. It has been renovated and seems to have three public baths. You can get a free ticket at the hotel.I think the open-air bath at the inn is sufficient.I think it's a simple sulfur spring, but it's a pleasant hot spring. The inn is also comfortable with polite customer service without being excessive, from greetings to explanations.Of course, the cleaning is also very good.Meals are served in a private room, and everything was delicious, with perfect timing. The sweetfish tempura was boneless and my partner was also impressed. The Ise lobster was also beautifully prepared with a lot of effort. It was an inn that I wanted to visit again after a long time.Next time I would like to stay in a suite room.

I think there are many wonderful inns in Bessho Onsen, but I think Tamaya Ryokan is definitely one of the best. If you have a chance to go to Bessho Onsen, please stay here. The hot springs, rooms, food, and staff service are all top-notch.

The inn itself is old, but the interior of the rooms and the inside of the building have been renovated and are even treated with antibacterial treatment, which is very nice. Mr. Nakai was also very satisfied with the attentiveness and the way he spoke to me, reaching out to my itchy areas. The apple juice was delicious.
