I'm not staying overnight❢The young monk who guided us did his best to explain. Unfortunately, there was nothing that left a lasting impression on me. A uke might be good for the ladies❓ but you don't need a uke at the temple ♥

Koyasan, Shukubo Fugenin. It was a very nice lodging.First of all, the location is very good. It is located 2-3 minutes walk from the Senjuinbashi bus stop (next to the Senjuinbashi intersection). It's about a 15 minute walk to the Daimon, and along the way there are Danjo Garan, Kongobuji Temple, and Reihokan. Nyonin-do is also located in the direction of Koyasan Station, which is about a 15-minute walk away, and there are the Tokugawa family burial ground and a shrine with a crying dragon on the way, making it very convenient for sightseeing.The room I stayed in was new, spacious, and had a toilet. (There are rooms separated by sliding doors, so you can stay a little cheaper. The toilet is shared)There are also separate dining rooms, separated by sliding doors for each group, so you can eat slowly. The food was very delicious with vegetarian cuisine made with soup stock.I was looking forward to staying at the lodging house, but I was able to participate in the morning service and see the Buddhist ashes (Buddha's bones).I would like to stay with you again when I go to Koyasan.

The rooms and water facilities are new and comfortable.We stayed here on August 13th, the day of the Candle Festival. Dinner time is early on this day, starting at 5:30 pm, and you can take a bath until after 10 pm to accommodate the festival.

I went there a long time ago, but I didn't give it to you. It was so good that I recorded it.I visited in July last year. It is a reservation and sutra copying plan at Jalan.meal! I was given a whole bowl every time, but all of them were empty. I think they thought I ate too much. 😂There was another person in the same room, but I was guided at a distance so it didn't really bother me.The bath was very large. The timing was good, so we reserved it for ourselves.The explanation after work was also good. It was a fulfilling time as we moved from place to place and pretended to spin the prayer wheel, and listened to the monk's kind words.The copies of the sutras were delivered after the service. The wish I wrote at that time has now come true✨✨A monk also spoke to me here.When copying sutras and performing rituals, people used something called lacquer. This was my first time hearing about it, but it smelled like spices.I am left with an impression that everyone who welcomed me was very warm and that we had a wonderful time.Also, after a while, I received a postcard from Fugenin. I think it was a thank you and seasonal greeting, but I wonder if they would do that much for one guest! ? I remember being surprised.

The vegetarian cuisine was extremely delicious. It was helpful to learn about tourist spots in Mt. Koya. I had a wonderful experience participating in the morning ritual and visiting the Buddha's reliquary. The explanation during the visit was easy to understand and I learned a lot.

I stayed here twice: 9 years ago and this summer. The room's hand-painted fusuma paintings of cranes, plum blossoms, and legendary Chinese figures were lovely. The vegetarian cuisine was also well thought out and delicious.

I stay at this inn for various reasons,They are very kind and polite, the food is delicious, I get to do things I rarely get to experience, such as going to the morning shift, and there is a bath, which is really wonderful.

After visiting the 88 Sacred Sites of Shikoku by bicycle and finally paying my respects to the Daishi at Okunoin Temple on Mt. Koya, I came to this shukubo.I was nervous at my first lodging as the pilgrimage was all about business hotels and camping, but the monks were all kind and made me feel at home. The food is of course vegetarian cuisine. It was a little lacking for me after riding my bicycle up Mt. Koya, but the vegetable tempura was delicious.The morning service was as moving as a solemn opera, with music and chanting of Buddhist prayers. After work, I worshiped the Buddha's relics, one of only three on Mt. Koya, and accumulated merit by spinning a prayer wheel.I had a great experience🙏

Since I was staying with my father, who is in his 90s, I looked for a lodging with a toilet in the room, and decided on Fugen-in.The room with walls was spacious, clean, and had a great view of the garden. The sliding doors were also interesting.The toilet and sink were also modern.I had asked for a sutra copying experience, and I was able to do so in my room.The inn also has an elevator, which was very helpful for my elderly father.
