The interior looks a little old-fashioned, but it is kept clean. The bath is also very nice and has the unique sulfur smell of a hot spring, giving you the feeling of being in a hot spring. There are a lot of meals in the morning and evening, so you'll be pretty full. All very delicious. Well, I think it's okay to eat less when you travel. The staff are also very responsive and I am very impressed. It's close to my house so I felt like coming back again.

Plan without dinner and breakfast includedVery good hot spring waterA hot spring type sourceBreakfast included. I thought it would be a light Japanese meal, but the portion was amazing. If you add a little more, it's as luxurious as a midnight snack.Of course the taste is delicious! How good is the hot water at Kamiyamada Onsen?

I left the hot Nagoya and went to Shinshu in search of some cool air. This is my first time coming to Tokura. This is a small and quiet hot spring area. I decided on this after looking at the hot springs, meals, and prices on Yahoo Travel. It was pouring rain when we arrived. Both breakfast and dinner were served in a private room with a large selection of items (dinner was a bit too much) and it was delicious. I had a plan that included a private bath and used the sleeping bath and box bath, and although it was small, there was no window and the water was hot, so I couldn't relax. Maybe in winter 🆗. The large communal bath has an open-air bath, so although it doesn't seem to have a completely free-flowing bath, the hot water was good. The staff was very responsive and made me feel comfortable even though it was a busy time.

It was midsummer, so the indoor bath (bathroom) was hot and humid like a sauna, but the open-air bath had a good view and was comfortable. The food is great for both dinner and breakfast ✨

I think that if you take the website at face value, your reputation will drop. The entrance is very grand and makes for a great photo. It's nice and quaint at night too. There is a nice park right in front of the facility. The guest rooms are showing their age.The only thing I didn't like was that the tatami had a lot of hangnails, and when I lay down or sat down, there was a lot of tatami debris stuck to the area.Even if I tried to remove it by hand or with a roller or duct tape, it would get stuck in the fibers of my clothes, so I ended up having to pick out small items one by one.By the way, in my case, it didn't come off even after washing.I think it's been a while since the building was built, and I think I have some money saved up, so I think it's time to replace the tatami.I thought the quality of the hot spring water was good. The person who came with me said that the condition of his skin had improved. It's just small. Also, there is no air conditioner in the changing room, only a fan, so it gets extremely hot in the summer. It is better to use the hair dryer in the guest room.I would like to do something about the changing room. The food was also delicious.
