This is the perfect park to enjoy the outdoors of Sadogashima. A parking lot, toilets, showers (hot water available for 300 yen in the summer), a kitchen, tent sites, and a fishing embankment (100 meters offshore, 17-18 meters deep) are provided. This time I used it for kayak fishing from outside the island. The location and facilities are great. I take my hat off to the deep pockets of the administrators who provide such facilities for free. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to those who manage the facility on a daily basis. I will definitely visit Sado again with the memories of this facility in my heart. If there are more points like this where you can enjoy Sado's nature (rather than tourist attractions), I think the number of outdoor-oriented visitors like me will increase. We hope that you will be able to use this facility for a long time by following the rules such as leaving garbage unattended, making open fires, turning off toilet lights and locking doors, properly using sinks, and turning off idling. I hope that many users will do the right thing.

No poaching, no!You will either have to take your trash home with you or bring it to the Sado City Clean Center during the day. There are no garbage stations. Please look for the water source as it is in a hard to find place. There are no shops nearby, so we recommend shopping at a supermarket in the city before camping. Please turn off the lights in the restroom after use.

No cars are allowed. The parking lot is quite spacious, so I don't think there will be any problem sleeping in your car. However, the insects (probably gnats) were terrible. Because I was not careful, I was stabbed in over 20 places.

2 nights stay from 2024/5/21There is no reception at the free campsite.I get the impression that many of Sado's free camping sites are far from the parking lot, but this one is close so it's easy. It's along the road, but the traffic is minimal so it doesn't bother me.The biggest problem is that there is almost no docomo signal.

[Visited on 2023.12.01]Akakameiwa Rock with a hollow in the center. When I visited, a local person who was taking a walk said to me, ``You can ride Mr. Red Turtle. Come up from there.'' So I decided to climb up the mountain.Although it was not visible from the parking lot, there was also a large hole in the rock above the cavity. In addition, from the observation deck in the park, you could see Kazeshima Benten, Etosa Strait, and the mainland. This time I visited in the winter and unfortunately the sky was bad, so next time I would like to visit on a sunny day in the summer.

Lovely beach area with lots of beautiful pebbles around. The huts are located right on the coast, so I imagine waking up to the morning coast of Sado Island must be a treat. Anyway, there is a campsite area, and there is a large breakwater that you can walk on and along, though do note that lots of small bugs are around due to its proximity to the sea. Walking along the rocky coast can be quite difficult, so watch your step -- spraining your ankle is quite possible with such uneven floor. The railings around the beach tend to have lots of spider webs, so be careful.

There is a beach and free camping and glamping facilities. It's the perfect environment to play in the sea. There is a parking lot, showers, and toilets.Showers are only available during the swimming period.Unfortunately, since it is on the east side of Sado, you can't see the sunset, but you can see the sunrise beautifully, so it's great if you stay on the coast for camping or glamping. Also, there are almost no civilian buildings nearby, so you can see the beautiful starry sky at night. The sea is very beautiful during the day, and the scenery of Kazeshima and Akakameiwa is also very nice.If you make a reservation at a place called Hseek, you can go kayaking or surfing.Viewing Akakameiwa and Kazeshima from the sea in a kayak or SUP is a great experience, unlike the view from land.

There are campsites available for free. There are many people swimming in the beach, so you may want to avoid it during the summer season.Although it faces the prefectural road, the traffic volume is minimal, so you won't be bothered by the noise of cars. The kitchen is a little shabby, but the toilets are quite nice.
