It is an old private house that is very well maintained and clean. Amenities such as cooking utensils are also provided, so there is generally no problem even if you come empty-handed. However, there are no pajamas, so I think you only need to bring your own. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

It was a nice inn with a nice atmosphere.It's reserved for private use, so you can relax without worrying about other people watching you.We have all the equipment you need for cooking, so you can buy ingredients for breakfast and dinner and make them yourself.There was also a gift of water.It seems to be an old house that was built over 100 years ago, so there are gaps between the buildings, and insects can sometimes get in.However, there is heating and air conditioning, and the toilets are clean. This is an inn that I would definitely like to visit again.

I stayed here for one night on June 15, 2024.In Matsugasaki, ordinary residents are working together to unify the exterior colors in order to preserve the townscape of the past. In the center is the former Western-style mansion of Tomijiro Kijima, located across the road. I was able to stay in a nice environment where the townscape has been preserved.I took the car ferry departing at 9:00 on Saturday to Sado, photographed the flowers of Kaya grass at Onogame, saw the Utami rice terraces, saw the Osado Ishina natural cedars, and saw a large white bird that appeared to be a Japanese ibis from Toki's terrace. I saw it fly and arrived at the hotel at 7pm.My wife and I had the house to ourselves, so we took our time and had a luxurious dinner. Before breakfast, we took a walk through the rows of houses in Matsugasaki and enjoyed the sunrise over the sea on the coast.Breakfast arrived at 7am and we left at 8am. After seeing the nearby Iwakubi Shoryu rice terraces, I went to Shukunegi and returned by car ferry around 12:00.It was an unplanned trip where I decided on a destination while driving, but I was grateful for the location of the inn.

It has a homely atmosphere, like visiting a relative's house. Although it is old, it is well maintained and has a comfortable space. Although I didn't use it, I was concerned about the dust in the air conditioner. The breakfast delivered to us was delicious and made with local ingredients.

We enjoyed the stay here in the winter. It is very warm house with good facilities. We tried ironi (similar to bbq), and the dishes are delicious. It is a funny experience that we could cook by ourselves using the fire and carbon but it is very safe when we handle with care.It is a 100 year-old house but a good structure building. We highly recommend it.

It was a very comfortable place to spend time.Feels like home.Moreover, there are no unnecessary items, so it feels refreshing. There's no TV.I was able to relax without worrying about time.I can cook normally, take a bath, wash clothes, and dry them... I have all the tools. If it gets dirty, there are tools to clean it.If you want to let your kids play in the sea, you can go to the beach in less than 5 minutes on foot. I also like that I can wash my clothes when I get home, so I don't have to bring them home dirty.When you go outside at night, the sky is full of stars.

It was great to have a park right next to the sea!The room was clean and comfortable.It had a kitchen, so you could buy ingredients and cook, which was an advantage compared to a normal hotel!If you want to spend time in an old folk house, please come!
