Minami Ryokan

The food was delicious.The hot springs are ok.

All the food was locally sourced, handmade, sumptuous, and extremely delicious. The staff were friendly and easy to talk to, and the inn was comfortable. It was great to hear from the young proprietress and see wild ibises. In the end, we were taken to the port. This is an inn I would like to visit again.

It had the impression of a homely and comfortable inn.The rooms are clean and you can feel the attention to detail in the interior decoration. I think all the staff are very pleasant and the price including two meals is reasonable.Dinner was plentiful and delicious. Among them, the fish and turban shells are delicious, and I think they are doing their best to offer them at this price!The only thing that was a little disappointing was the restaurant's highball and coarse carbonated water. I also asked for a comparison of three types of local sake, but there was no information on the brewer, brand, type of sake, etc., so I don't know. I wish I could ask, but it's a hassle so I just drank it...Please use this as a reference as there are areas you would like to improve. It will only be available during the extremely hot summer months...I may have been unlucky enough to only be in my room, but no matter what I did, the temperature inside didn't drop below 29℃.The air conditioner does produce some cooling air, but it doesn't come out consistently, or it stops before the temperature drops, or no matter what you do with the air volume, automatic or manual, the air doesn't come out continuously and stops. I tried many things but gave up...I waited until the morning, thinking I wouldn't be able to change rooms as the room was fully booked that day, but it was quite a pain.(The day we stayed was a very hot day, with Niigata exceeding 35 degrees Celsius)The model seems to be quite old, so I think it would be a good idea to check it out.There's just one more thing that I think would be nice to have...It would be nice if there was air conditioning in the changing rooms and lobby.It's only available on extremely hot days, but the changing rooms are almost as hot as the outside air, so it's hot...and maybe it's because there's no air conditioning in the hallways or lobby? It was extremely hot, and I think the temperature was probably well over 30 degrees Celsius as I passed by.On extremely hot days, I find it difficult to spend time outside of my room. (My room was hot too...)Other than that, I think it's a very nice stay!By the way, the bath was not open 24 hours.

The room has been renovated and is now clean. ||Meals were served in a tatami room in the hall, but now there are table seats, so I think it's easier for people with limited mobility to eat. …

My staying experience at Minami Ryokan was great.All the staff were very kind and the food was luxurious and delicious. (If you are staying overnight, please come hungry (lol))I don't usually stay overnight when I travel, but my stay at this inn was so wonderful that I thought for the first time that I would like to come back again. In particular, the young proprietress and Nakai's grandmother were very kind and made us feel comfortable by giving us information about the local area.

It was a stay that made me feel glad I went to Sado.The waiters were also kind and I was able to hear many stories about Sado. We talked about the ibis appearing in the background, talked about local cuisine, and were friendly and had very good memories. It feels good to take a walk in front of the inn in the morning. Dinner and breakfast were also satisfying. Especially the dinner is very filling and delicious. It was an inn that I would like to stay at again when I come to Sado.

Used for touring on a motorcycle.All the employees are kind and pleasant.The dinner was plentiful and very tasty.The parking lot is gravel, so be careful with large bikes.
