The building itself is not new, but the rooms and facilities have been renovated and were very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable! The owner was also friendly and kind, which made me very happy! The price is also cheap, and I would definitely want to use it again!

My family of 4 stayed here for one night with my 5 year old and 2 year old sons.First of all, the location of Uenosou may not be as good as other inns, but since you can pick up and drop off by car, I don't think that will be a problem. The room was very clean, the futon was thick and comfortable to sleep in, and the brightness of the lighting could be adjusted finely, so it was very comfortable. And as others have written about the dinner, even though it was a standard course, I was impressed by how luxurious it was. Everything was exquisite. Please note that meals can be eaten in a private room. You can also borrow toys and picture books for children. The inn was child-friendly, with full body soap for infants and toddlers in the bath, and tableware for children during meals.Lastly, everyone at Uenosou was kind and the accommodation was very warm. When my second son is old enough to ride a bicycle, I would like to go to Himakajima again, and I would like to stay here again then.thank you very much.

The owner and the landlady were both very friendly and I had a comfortable stay. The owner's main occupation is a fisherman, so even though it was a simple course, the taste and quantity were very satisfying.

I came to Himakajima again this time for the purpose of fishing, but I was surprised when I came here. When I first came to the island, the seafood I ate on the island was so delicious that it left a lasting memory in my memory. However, I later learned that you can't experience that everywhere on the island. The first thing is that that first impression came back to me.This is my impression. Furthermore, I was surprised to see the dishes coming out one after another. I would like to come again.

I looked for a cheap hotel on the island and stayed here.I was worried because there was no information about the inside of the building, but the room and bath were very clean and nice! The room had a TV and hair dryer. The entrance is only separated by a sliding door with a lock, so you can hear quite a lot of noise from one room to another. The sink, toilet, and bathroom are shared, but they were very clean and I had no complaints. I was especially happy that the bathtub was not a bathtub, but was made of rocks like a hot spring. Please note that it is not possible to enter at any time, but a 45-minute slot is reserved for the group that checks in first.Above all, the couple who guided us around was very kind, and there were many things that made us happy, such as detailed service and introductions to the island. It was like a combination of the best aspects of a guesthouse and a ryokan. If I come to Himakajima again, I would like to stay here again 😊

It's on the east side of the island, so you might get lost if you walk there. We recommend entering from the northern perimeter road.At the inn, we were welcomed by a nice-looking couple, and we were very grateful for their kindness from the meal to the farewell service. The room and bathroom were clean and I was very satisfied. The meals are voluminous, and you can enjoy fresh seafood dishes. It might be better not to eat too much before arriving at your hotel!

My first trip to Himakajima, a month ago, I suddenly decided to go on a trip with a friend, so I searched for it on Jalan and found it.The price is also low during the Aichi Travel Campaign. There are only good reviews. I was wondering what that meant when I saw the comment that it was an old building but very clean. We arrived at the inn after about 20 minutes of walking around the west port. I got a little lost because I didn't know where it was, but I was able to get there safely while looking at the map. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by everyone at the inn, decided on bath and meal times, and started the Aichi Travel Campaign procedures. *I was very grateful that they carefully called me in advance to give me instructions about this campaign and to make sure I didn't forget anything. After that, I relaxed in my room and had a relaxing bath. The baths were reserved for different periods of time, so I was able to enjoy the baths with peace of mind. The bath was probably renovated and looked old in some places, but it was well-cleaned and clean. My friends who went with me were also happy that the shampoo was Pantene. After taking a bath and relaxing in the room, we finally had dinner. I had heard in advance that the amount of dinner was huge, so I thought I would be hungry, but I was completely disappointed (lol).・Octopus kimchi・Mozuku vinegar・Sashimi of flounder, turban shell, and clamsStarting from・Eating prawns・Salt-grilled prawns·Octopus rice・Specialty: Boiled octopus with salt・Salt-grilled barracuda・Migratory crab・Fried white fish and shrimp・Large clam grilled with mayonnaise・Rice, soup, and tsukemono·fruitsAnyway, the volume was amazing.Of course, the taste was very delicious, and even though I was exhausted from all the blue crabs, I felt extremely disappointed that I couldn't eat all of them. My friends and I still talk about whether it would have been better to go without saving up for lunch. After returning to my room, I couldn't move and fell asleep after 8 o'clock. The next morning, we refreshed ourselves with a morning bath and had another delicious breakfast. It's been a long time since I've had such a fulfilling breakfast where everything was so delicious. They asked me in advance what to do with my futon after breakfast, so I was able to laze around and relax until check-out.At the time of our departure, everyone saw us off and it was a pleasant departure from Himakashima.Although it is difficult to come here, if a friend decides to go to Himakajima, I would definitely recommend this inn.

I visited with two older men on the deluxe plan that included abalone. The exterior looks like a huge private house, and when you step inside, you can feel its age, but perhaps because it has been thoroughly cleaned, even though you know it's old, everything is clean, so it's a pleasure to stay there. It was a comfortable guesthouse. The room is a typical Japanese style room, but as mentioned above, it is very clean. From the room on the 3rd floor, I could see the ocean in the distance, and the sky was wide and felt great. The only toiletries provided are toothbrushes and no razors, so I think it would be a good idea for men to bring their own.The toilet and washroom are shared. On the 3rd floor, there are two toilets, one Western-style (with shower) and one Japanese-style. This has also been thoroughly cleaned and is very clean, with no age-related stains or dead insects. The dinner was surprisingly large. I visited in late November, and the main dish was giant, thick-fleshed flounder sashimi, turban shells, shellfish sashimi, live raw shrimp, large grilled shrimp, plump and voluminous pufferfish fried, and whole boiled. Octopus, octopus rice, crab, clam gratin...I may not have written all the details, but perhaps because it was a deluxe meal, even two old men couldn't finish it all. The main part of the plan, the grilled abalone, was served freshly with butter and soy sauce, and I was blown away by its unprecedented tenderness and flavor. It was delicious. In the morning, we have a basic inn breakfast of whitebait, shrimp, and dried fish, which is also hearty and satisfying enough to fill an ohitsu for two people. The rice was also well cooked and delicious. The bath can be reserved by the hour. Although it is a small indoor bath, it has been designed to create an atmosphere, and even though it is small, a family of four with children can easily fit in there. Even two old men could stretch their legs if they lined up side by side. You can take a bath not only at night but also in the morning. The cleanliness is also perfect. The staff were kind and friendly, and although the staff seemed to be having a hard time this time as they had to check many documents for travel assistance, I felt that my husband was taking good care of me from start to finish. Ta. I don't know if it's always available, but since I didn't use the shuttle, I received some extra souvenirs and was treated well until the very end.Although it is close to the east port, I purposely got off at the west port and leisurely walked along the north side of the island while looking out at the sea. I think it's great to be able to feel the atmosphere of the island. You have to take a slightly narrow road at the end, so I think it's a good idea to be careful while looking at Google Maps.My companion was also very satisfied. I would like to visit you again. thank you very much.*By the way, the price is surprisingly low considering the service I received. Recommended.
