It's been five years since our visit, but I still remember this place fondly over and over again! I remembered this as the most memorable and best accommodation of our two-week trip! Akiko was a wonderful, warm and friendly person! I hope I can get to his place again someday. And Akiko, if you're reading this, the invitation to visit us in Finland is still valid!

Not only a beautiful, well maintained house in town, Akiko treated us like real friends. She opened a white wine when it happened to be my birthday. It was many years ago but parts of me still stay there. I miss this place and Akiko. It's always my first choice in Kyoto. I wish Akiko a lifetime happiness.

It was very clean and cozy. Although it was 4 years ago, it left an impression on me as it was a suitable accommodation for my first trip to Japan. A simple Japanese breakfast can be enjoyed only upon request, and I remember that there were dormitories, three-person rooms, and two-person rooms at the time. There is a kotatsu in the living room so you can use it.
