Suzurinosato Camping Ground

This is a small, well-managed campground.

A campsite managed by the Japan Upper Culture Research Institute, a think tank in Hayakawa Town. There are no tourist attractions nearby, and the campsite is located at the end of the Amehata district, which can be called the southern limit of Hayakawa Town.It was closed until recently, so it is still a little-known spot. The premises are mainly bungalows, with a small free site in the center, an administration building, one kitchen, and one toilet. Although it is small, the bungalows are spaced widely, allowing you to freely use the space around the hut. The management is very good, there are no problems with the cleanliness of the kitchen and toilets, the bungalows are cleaned properly, and weeds are removed thoroughly. There is an exquisite silence here where you can only hear the sounds of the distant stream and the voices of the birds. Even during Golden Week, it wasn't packed, so I was able to spend a very relaxing time.The road leading up from the village at the foot of the mountain is so narrow that it is impossible to pass each other, but if there are no oncoming cars, you can still climb up with the number 3. Villa Amehata in the village accepts day trip bathers. We didn't want to drive back and forth on this road, so we took a walk. It's just over 1km long, so it's not a problem in terms of distance, but it's all uphill on the way back, so I get a little sweaty. There are no stores nearby where you can buy things.I've used several campgrounds in the Southern Alps, but personally this was the best, so I'm giving it 5 stars. However, the free site is small, so the rating may change if you stay in a tent. If you don't have a strong preference for staying in a tent, we recommend staying in a bungalow. If it's cold, they will lend you a blanket.

I went to the Suzuri no Sato campsite that was featured in Yuru Camp!It was a typhoon day, but they kindly lent us a cottage and we were the only guests.I don't know why the rain field is called a rain field, but it's a campsite with lots of moss and mushrooms.As mentioned in other reviews, the road is narrow, but if you contact the manager in advance, they will prevent oncoming traffic. It was a great help!By the way, by the time I returned, I had gotten used to the narrowness of the road. As long as you don't go off track, you'll be fine.There were only a few fallen trees along the way, but they seemed to have gone out of their way to keep it clean as they had reservations over the holidays.Because we are in nature, there are a lot of insects (winged ants, spider ants, crickets, grasshoppers), but you can use the refrigerator for 200 yen, so you don't have to worry, and the kitchen is close to the campsite and cottage.It was convenient. By the way, Musco found a giant cicada and loved it😂The environment is really good, but there aren't many rules so there's no quiet time.At night and early in the morning, I hear voices talking and the sound of empty cans being crushed, even though it's already past 11 o'clock💦💦Well, we also have a child, so it's noisy, so I guess we're mutual 😅I was able to experience staying in a cottage for the first time, and there is a path where you can take a short walk in the mountains.It seems that if there was no coronavirus, they would be holding a children's camp every year, a camping experience just for children 🌟

The location is great, it's on a hill and is perfect for summer camping, but it's only possible to get there by light truck or Jimny, and a compact car would be hard to get to.

The last 1-2km of the climb is extremely narrow, so it might be difficult for large vehicles, but once you get to the top, it's relatively empty, there are petit athletics, lodges, and other facilities, and there's a decent amount of parking. I think you can have a quiet camping experience.The bath is at the bottom of the mountain, so I think it's best to take a bath first.

This time, we were camping in a tent. The free site is small and can only accommodate about 4 groups. It's a short walk from the parking lot. There was a refrigerator in the kitchen, although I don't know if it was okay to use it.

I came down from the mountain and there was no bus, so I happened to stay overnight.It's located in a high place, so it's quiet and cool, making it a great place to relax. Enjoy mini athletics.The manager is also very cheerful and kind, and there are cats and large dogs.I was happy that the toilet paper in the toilet was soft (lol)
